Quiet campsite, new, well-designed accommodation! We came as a family from 12/04/25 to 19/04/25. We had a great week at this campsite. The only downside for me was that the swimming pool was not accessible during this period, which was a real shame for the children...

I am very satisfied, staff very pleasant and caring for their customers I recommend without hesitation, for my next vacation I will return to test the snack gourmet

The campsite is in a very quiet yet central location. A beautiful site.

A magnificent setting, but adjustments needed to justify the rate We spent a night in this picturesque establishment, which is really pleasant and well appointed, despite a slight inconvenience caused by the narrowness of the lake. I would like to stress that this review is not intended to disparage, but to help the experience progress to a level of service in line with the rate charged (€316 per night dinner + breakfast for 2). Let's start with the positive: the evening meal was very good, with appreciable flavors, but the portions were unfortunately very small. We had to satisfy our hunger with a whole baguette, which is a shame for a dinner at this price. Breakfast, meanwhile, was good, with quality regional products (note: tea from a well-known brand should be avoided as it is unhealthy, and there was no water available to make the infusion). As far as amenities are concerned, the separate bathroom (mirrored cabin) is not a problem in itself, but access to the switch at night is tedious, as it's too far from the front door. What's more, a little cleaning is required to remove the cobwebs, which detracts from the overall impression. The chlorinated whirlpool SPA area is very pleasant, well-designed and functional - nothing to complain about here. As far as the room is concerned, there are a number of areas that need improvement. The lack of a water point is understandable, but not providing bottles is problematic, especially at this rate. The wine cellar is well thought-out, but the blue light, coupled with a sensor nightlight, is frightfully powerful at night, which is very unpleasant. Handkerchiefs are also missing, a detail that counts for comfort. The sheets are close to hospital quality, which is disappointing, although the pillows were, for my wife and me, comfortable. Finally, the dining table is far too small, whether for dinner or breakfast, making the experience impractical. Overall, the rate of €316 per night still doesn't reflect the service offered. The initial investment is perhaps too heavy (with many cabins for a launch), which seems to push us to cut back on certain essential aspects of comfort. By way of comparison, we stayed in cabins near Orange, in the south of France, for a similar price, but with a much more accomplished service: privacy, comfort and serenity were the order of the day, which is not yet the case here. At this price, you'd expect a pleasant, peaceful and comfortable night's sleep, which unfortunately wasn't entirely our experience. We don't expect to return for the time being. The potential is there, not least thanks to the magnificent setting, but there's still a long way to go to achieve satisfactory value for money.

Well maintained campsite

We had planned a vacation over Easter. Shortly after our arrival, the neighbors came up to us and asked if it was as unhygienic as ours. There was dirt everywhere and leftovers from the previous occupants. It wasn't very clean at our place, but we didn't want to negatively impact our vacation by being too demanding. We only settled in briefly, cleaned up a bit and then had a nice evening somewhere else. When we came into the cottage at night, everything was crawling. There were cockroaches of different generations and sizes everywhere, in every room. It was obvious that this mass had been living there in various stages for some time. We immediately packed all our things into bags and disposed of many of them. At the same time, we tried to call the emergency number in the brochure; unfortunately, no one answered. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to find a hotel room at night either. There was another number at reception where we could reach someone. However, they didn't see a problem just because there were a few cockroaches running around the house. Whether there were really hundreds or a few less. We were then reproached for not having taken care of the problem beforehand and reported it. Again, it was of course our fault that we didn't immediately assume that the whole park was unhygienic and had a cockroach infestation. No solution was found for us that cold night. We were simply told to go back into the house and sleep until the morning. I denied this and insisted on a solution. I was told that I was completely exaggerating because of a few cockroaches, but they could send someone out, but that would be a huge effort, would I really want that? I insisted and told the person to call me as it would take a long time for someone to come and it was just too cold outside the house. We went through my phone number three times and it worked every time. After two hours, I called again to ask when the person would finally come, but it was my own fault because there were no lights on in the house and they thought we were already asleep (in the horror cockroach house, where I made it clear that we wouldn't be entering). They would have called me too, but it would be my own fault if I didn't pick up. I wasn't called and it was confirmed the next day that no one had called me. They couldn't and wouldn't help me that night and I was told to call another Europarc the next day at 9am. I ended up going there directly the next day. The problem was suddenly dealt with more professionally there. I was told that we could simply hand in the keys, the bills for the dogs and the deposit for the key would of course be refunded in addition to the total costs. However, we would have to speak to the manager first. Back at the park, we were approached by a technician who had also tried to reach me during the night. He apparently had no experience with telephones and did not dial a German area code, although I had explicitly told the lady on the emergency number to do so. When we searched the apartment and he saw the photos, he also saw cockroach droppings in the drawer, which would have shown that several cockroaches had been living there for some time. The apartment was then equipped with cooking pots containing a liquid. Once home, we were allowed to do a lot of laundry during our "vacation", check everything, clean, etc pp. Despite careful checking and careful procedures, we were still left with a feeling of discomfort and disgust from our "vacation" at home. Following our description, we only received the answer from Europarcs that we would be charged for one night and could be credited for the other nights if necessary. We will now consider various legal steps.

We return regularly to this family campsite and love it! The sanitary facilities are clean, the welcome excellent and the pitches very good. We also bring our grandchildren, who love it! It's always a pleasure to stay here. 😃

Really a super nice campsite. Nice pool, nice playground, great restaurant and clean sanitary facilities. In addition, beautiful surroundings. We had a great time here as a family!

The location is beautiful, close to Leiden which is great, and a good spot if you have a car to explore Holland and the Netherlands. Lots of lakes and windmills around so very picturesque. The site itself is clean and well maintained. We checked in with a friendly member of staff. The chalets are clean and smart and pretty. However there were some downsides that ruined it for me. It's not like you're staying in a cheap camping cabin, but the amenities provided were as if it were. You had to pay extra to rent towels and they were so tiny and bad quality. No tea towels or oven gloves or soap or things like that. Very minimal cleaning supplies. We had to pay extra to rent a high chair and a travel cot. The rooms do not fit a travel cot comfortably, we had to basically roll across the bed to get past it. No curtains in bathroom so it was hard to put baby to bed when it was still light as no door between bedroom and bathroom. The worst thing was the design of the headboards. You can't sit up because there's a massive shelf going along it at neck hight! Who the hell decided that was a good idea. Nightmare to feed baby in the night. I would return here if these things changed as the location was great but those little bits were very frustrating expecially with a baby.

Fantastic place. Lots of opportunities for biking, hiking and running. You can meet with the owners and have a drink on the terrace with beautiful views or take a swim in the (not heated) pool. We had a top time there and will definitely return. Highly recommended!
