Summary created out of 183 reviews

Camping Orsera enjoys a beautiful location right by the sea, within walking distance of charming Vrsar. Guests appreciate the spacious, shaded pitches and especially the peace and clean, well-maintained sanitary facilities. The friendly staff contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. However, there are points of criticism: wifi is barely usable, some pitches are sloped or located directly on the busy main road, and the restaurant has been closed for some time. Washing facilities and water access also receive mixed reviews, particularly the water quality at the dog beach is disappointing.

We're here as a family with our trailer—yet again—and we have a campsite right on the water. It's truly wonderful. Highly recommended!

A great, manageable campground in a good location!

We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. We especially liked the size of the campground—not too big and not too small. That made everything pleasantly manageable, and you didn’t have to walk endlessly.
The staff was consistently extremely friendly and helpful. We’d especially like to highlight Nino von Gebetsreuter: He was always exceptionally friendly, courteous, and helpful. No matter what the issue, Nino was always there to take care of it. Absolutely top-notch—thank you so much!
The campsites were also lovely, and we really liked the entire facility.
An absolute highlight is the campground’s location: Vrsar is just a five-minute walk away. There, you can relax and stroll through the beautiful old town, take a leisurely walk, grab a bite to eat, or simply soak up the atmosphere. For us, this was a really big plus, since you don’t have to rely on a car or bike all the time.
The campground is also great for water sports enthusiasts. There’s a wide range of options for divers, boaters, and other water activities.
We especially liked the access to the sea. It was wonderful to walk into the water with the kids without having to climb over large rocks or navigate tricky spots. There were also plenty of nice shaded spots on the beach, which is a huge advantage, especially with kids in the summer.
We can also recommend the restaurants. The food was good, and we thought the prices were absolutely reasonable. Overall, it offers good value for the money.
The only real criticism: some of the washhouses look quite dated. A modernization here would certainly be desirable.
Overall, we can definitely recommend this campground. We particularly liked its manageable size, the friendly staff, the great access to the sea, the many shaded spots, and, above all, its proximity to Vrsar. In our opinion, this campground is a really good choice for families with children, as well as for divers and boaters.

Camping in designated sites—it's a shame that the deposit for a specific site isn't included in the payment due upon checkout.

    Small, spacious campground.
Sites are large enough even for slightly larger RVs. Small mini-market, restaurant, diving school, boat rentals (for boats above a certain size, a boating license is required), cocktail bar with live music in the evenings.
Access to the water via several sets of stairs; no sandy beach, but there is a dog beach. Actually a nice place.
(Unfortunately, there are always people who think it’s okay to walk across other people’s sites. And if you say something to them, they get rude.)
The campground can’t be held responsible for that.
