Very relaxing and friendly family campsite

Large, flat, shaded pitches, ideal for camping. Well-maintained sanitary facilities with soap and toilet paper. Top activities: fishing, swimming pool, trampoline! 2km from the big challenge! Great bar and snacks! Small improvement for my part: a round would be welcome to tell the late-nighters to stop making noise after 11 p.m... that would avoid having to do it themselves at midnight... several nights in a row...

Tent pitches from July 10 to 20. Pitches numbered around 60 are shady but very close to the road (busy, noisy). Pitches numbered in the 80s are further away but not very shady. The pool is very cold and difficult to swim in when it's not very hot outside. The foot bath and shower don't work (people get straight into the water, a real lack of hygiene). The sanitary facilities are either not cleaned at all, or very poorly (no toilet paper and, above all, no soap). There are water points all over the campsite, but the taps leak (a disgrace) and there's stagnant water that encourages mosquitoes. Access to the campsite is unregulated (no wristbands) and anyone can enter the swimming pool or campsite without worry.... no rounds to ask people to tie up their dogs or stop making noise after 11 p.m... finally, to get to the reception or the boules pitch, you have to cross a road (not practical if you want to leave the children on their own). finally, bread ordered the day before is only available from 9am, when reception opens. No early risers. the only advantage of this campsite is its location in relation to tourist sites. A campsite that doesn't deserve its stars, but can only do better if it invests.

Reservation of the pitch one day before by e-mail worked great; nice and helpful staff; small and nice restaurant area available; sanitary facilities clean and absolutely ok; large tree population with the disadvantage of many pigeons that really "drop" a lot; small cute -not heated- swimming pool, because there is no opportunity to swim in the sea here; great bike path to Mt. St. Michel.

Very beautiful park

We hebben een top week gehad op deze camping! De eigenaren en werknemers zijn heel vriendelijk en werken keihard. Het eten in het restaurant is heerlijk. De plek waar de camping ligt is prachtig. Het is er heel rustig en gezellig. We komen volgend jaar graag weer terug!🩷 Familie Hazekamp

A total disconnect and a super pleasant service I recommend and all the restaurant team is really great.

Small, fine place run by a handful of people located directly on the lake. The staff were always helpful and responded quickly. Monte Trappe etc. is not far away. You should arm yourself against mosquitoes. There were quite a lot of them in July.

Fantastic day! Passionate staff with lots of knowledge, impressive buildings with lots of details, we will definitely come back again!

Superb vacation at a very friendly, no-holds-barred campsite. The comfort of the mobile homes is top-notch, and everything is close by, even the beach, within easy walking distance. The food truck is delicious and the restaurant owner is very pleasant and friendly. I recommend+++.

45€ a night, I just want to pitch my tent for a night, not buy land!

Superb campsite. A loyal customer for 35 years, we have now seen the management taken over by Huttopia. Over the past 3 years, Mathilde and Pauline have considerably improved management, cleanliness and entertainment. The teams are smiling and more than efficient. A real pleasure for our 3-week vacation. We sincerely hope to see them again next year! Bravo again and thank you. ☺️ With regard to the two previous reviews, which make me laugh a little, I've never seen a "rat colony" here, or even a rat at all. Hedgehogs, field mice, insects, ants ... And yes, a wilderness campsite on the Ile de Ré. It seems to me that your awakening as an "organized gang" was done by a single person (I was two pitches away) and for a simple and good reason: inappropriate behavior during the night, which disturbed a large number of campers (4 a.m.) and obviously led to quite a few complaints in the early hours of the morning! So, girls, we'll see you next year 🤞 and thanks again to you both and the whole team.
