Very much overdue maintenance, little attention! On the outside everything looks beautiful, but if you look closer there are many defects, both in the cottages and in the facilities at the park. |First of all, our house was not clean. Lots of dust everywhere, toys not ours found under the beds, a dirty, smelly drain on the bathroom and a dishwasher full of food scraps. The house was not well maintained: loose joints on the floors, a broken off leg of the couch, the refrigerator door not closing, the TV bracket almost falling off, old holes in the walls everywhere. It was not nice coming in. You just notice that very little attention is paid to the accommodations. |The technical service solved a number of issues perfectly. Unfortunately only after 1.5 days, because there are only two people working there. They serve all the vacation homes in the park. This is obviously a task that can not be done!!! |The pool is old and also not clean. The bottom of the pool is peeling off and has really had its best time. |For the amount that is asked for a stay, you can expect much more! |Deathly bad! The staff is not to blame. It is just sad how many complaints they have to deal with. We will not return here.

We spent a total of 3 weeks at the park where we had booked the most luxurious cottage, including Jacuzzi. It was our 2nd time at Hu but also really the last. ||The facilities at the park are basically just good. Especially the pools etc. are really great for a family with children. But we were disappointed with the service. ||1. We had no hot water to shower for a week. Every time we had someone come they either didn't come, or they spoke such bad English that they didn't understand what was wrong. Or said it just worked. After a week someone finally came who did look a little further and could solve the problem. Very annoying with small children.||2. Our personal "jacuzzi" was leaking. Not only with us but with all the cottages. In itself not a disaster but this made the wood of the Veranda under the tub so wet that it became moldy and rotten. ||3. Our cottage had a wooden veranda with sun beds & table + 6 chairs and jacuzzi. That is already incredibly cramped but there was also a one meter diameter tree that came right through the middle of our porch.||4. Furthermore, you also get if you stay 3 weeks; 1 set of towels. Do you want fresh you may again pay extra. Also here we had expected a little more service. Also for doing laundry there is quite a charge; 5 euros for 1 wash.||5. Furthermore, the quality of the food was really substandard at the park. And the prices hefty.||The customer care came to us on the last night to accommodate us with vouchers at the park to eat for free. However, we already had food and as described above we were not waiting for this. We were promised a small amount back as compensation. ||To this day we have not received it and they do not respond to the emails. ||So for us no more Hu,

Liked: Great that it was open on December 25th Easy location, warm bathroom for a refreshing shower, large space. We use a roof tent. It was muddy but nothing to do, normal in winter.

We booked through Secrets europarcs and ended up at the Zuiderzee resort. We were very happy with the bungalow. The park itself is nice to look at, there is a small supermarket on site (Spar), the whole area is very clean and the indoor playground was OK, the kids had fun there, but otherwise we didn't particularly like it. It all seemed very deserted 🙈 the restaurants were very confusing and were open when they wanted to be 🤷 you couldn't find opening times anywhere and therefore couldn't really plan your meal. The swimming pool didn't convince us either ...very small and it was also really cold there ...not to be endured for long 🥶 1 more minus point ...we had ordered the BBQ offer for New Year's Eve ...1 day before we were told that it was no longer available ...very disappointing for a large family who then had to come up with something else at short notice . 😐

Just yesterday we left the camper area, reception perfect,clean toilets,load and unload ok,connections with the city ok,you can take the 11 bus a few meters outside the campground ,and it takes you to the center, but I say, with all the potential you have , some gravel in those pitches do you want to put it and some lampposts to illustrate the slippery path and especially full of mud,it is useless for you to put the rubberized plates to get the campers out of the mud. It could be a nice campsite even in winter, but for me it is no . Place remedies

1 word WOW! How much we enjoyed celebrating New Year's Eve in such a beautiful location with our 2 small children. (11months & 3.5j) What an oasis of calm, yet close to the center (15min by bike) and the sea just 500M! Unique location, everything is very well thought out. It's all very well organized (from games available, newspaper to pick up every morning, the shop....). Our children also loved the chickens that stay there, the boat on the water, the hot tub and so much more! Emma-Emelie & Youri are very hospitable and constantly available. If you need anything, or have questions they were always available via Whatssapp. You will definitely see us back here. I can only recommend it to everyone!!!

Basically a nice campsite, but it is designed more for families with children. Although we were here in the low season (late December to early January) the site was quite noisy. Lots of traffic on the site. It felt like the employees were driving back and forth all day in their 3 golf buggies. In the evening the entertainers drive around the campsite in their buggies and play their megaphones. The sanitary facilities were clean and you could eat properly in the restaurant on site. The reception was very friendly.

Perfect location right on the waterfront.. facilties absolutely spot on some of the best showers I have had at any campsite. Roasting hot! Beautiful bike ride to the center takes about 45 mins but is through lovely woods and fields on purpose built cycle paths which are flat and a pleasure to ride on. Puts the UK to shame!

Very nice campsite with good service/friendly staff. Close to Sluis and Breskens. We received an email from the campsite with tips on what to do in the area and entertainment. Very nice! Our cottage (XL 6 persons) was nicely decorated, very clean and good beds. Good restaurant with lots of play opportunities for the children. We enjoyed it very much. We will definitely come back!

Excellent campground for RVs, surrounded by greenery and with clean bathrooms. The entire area is neat and well maintained, from the pitches to the common areas. The location is perfect for sightseeing, being only a 10-minute walk from the Montagne Verte streetcar line B stop, which connects directly to the center and the European Parliament. The only negative point is the Wi-Fi, which unfortunately did not work during our stay.
