We liked: Functional, clean and well-equipped bungali tents The sanitary facilities, always spotless Our location opposite a children's playground Free activities for families (weekly entertainment schedule) Bar/restaurant with pizzas (could do with something more than pizzas) Geographical location, with easy access for sightseeing (castle, garden, bike paths, etc.) We didn't like : The steepness of the site, which can be tiring in the long run (especially with small children). Campsite close to Sarlat (a 10-minute walk, but with a +++ slope to get in) but far from the Dordogne. Unheated outdoor pools (frozen paddling pool for babies!) Noise in the evenings (although on arrival, the activity leader stressed that this wasn't Cap Fun and that it would be quiet and peaceful). Garbage cans outside the site (and no sorting garbage cans on the pitches, which would be in keeping with the site's "nature" values).

The room rating applies to the clean pitch. Is a beautifully located (about 8 minutes walk to the center of Millau) by many beautiful large trees pleasantly shady campsite with a reasonable range of entertainment for young and old ... We would love to come again sometime...

Nice quiet campground, the lake is very dense with aquatic plants fishing is almost impossible in the designated spots. The older mobile home we were in have very poor "2 person beds" 140cm.... one sagged completely and the other was way too hard. It left us both with sore backs. For a day or 4a5 you can enjoy yourself here with young children between 6 and 12 years. The pool at the lake is good.

Kiváló infrastruktúra. Mindenhol erős wifi jel, tisztán tartott és nagy mennyiségű vizesblokk, 3 édesvizes medence komplexum, szép tengerpart, mosógépek, boltok, éttermek, fagyizók, zöldséges, pékáru. Vízieszköz és bicikli kölcsönzési lehetőség. Hosszú tengerpart, szép sétánnyal, ami nincs lezárva, szóval elvileg a parti úton bárki besétálhat, és használhatja a kemping infrastruktúráját. Bár többezer férőhelyes a kemping, teljesen megtelik csúcsszezonban. Előre kell sátorhelyet foglalni, és esélyes, hogy több nappal, de inkább több héttel előre. Hogy hol kapsz helyet, az véletlenszerű, nem lehet válogatni, főleg online nem. Nekünk például a medencék mellett volt közvetlenül a helyünk, egy forgalmasabb út mellett, ahol elektromos rollerekkel és benzines kismotorokkal száguldoztak a fiatalok, emiatt a kisgyerekemet folyamatosan szemmel kellett tartanom, ne menjen le a sátorhelyről. Amint mások is írják, néha még éjfél után is hallatszik a zene, ami a kempingen kívülről szól. A kempinget főleg hollandok használják, ötből négy vendég ilyen nemzetiségű, legalábbis amikor mi ott voltunk. Ahogy előttem is írták, sokan nem tartják be a szabályokat, rengetegen rollerrel száguldoznak ott is, ahol tilos, szóval állandóan fognom kellett a gyerekem kezét, és elrántani előlük. Sokan túl hangosan hallgatják a zenéjüket, mert nem tartatják be a szabályokat. Csúcsszezonban mi 77 Eurót fizettünk naponta, ami elég drága, de a környéken nem találtunk jobb lehetőséget. Együtt kell élni azzal, hogy csúcsszezonban teljesen megtelik ez a vidék, harc megy a helyekért így is. Csodálatos itt a tengerpart. Bár a vízben rengeteg apró medúzával találkoztam, ezek ártalmatlanok voltak. Halból is sokféle úszkál a parttól már 20 méternyire. A legjobb élmény a delfinnéző hajókázás volt fejenként 30 Euróért, aki teheti, ne hagyja ki. A sátorhelyek murvával borítottak, kalapács mindenképpen kell a sátorveréshez. Egyes karók leveréséhez szét kellett verni a felszíni köveket. Egy rutinosabb szomszéd elektromos fúrót használt a karókhoz, tudom ajánlani. Ha nyugodt pihenésre vágysz, vigyél füldugót, mert az ifjak éjfél után is zajonghatnak, és az is előfordul, hogy a szomszéd sátorhelyen a lakóautó mobil klímája pont a sátradtól két méterre zúg éjszaka.

This is a campground for people with small children. So not a campsite where you can get your rest as an adult. Our pitch was just small. There are too few sanitary facilities for the size of the campground. Because of a future renovation of a sanitary building, a makeshift solution was devised with 4 toilets and 3 showers for the back part of the campsite. Far too few. And the kids run in and out of that limited space. Two washing up places so you just have to gamble all day to get to them. No lighting in the evening to the sanitary building and that on a path where all stairs. As far as we are concerned, the price you pay for a night here is definitely not worth it! On our spot also hardly or actually no WIFI coverage. Maybe we had too high expectations because if you look at the website it seems a nice campsite, but in reality totally unsuitable for families without small children. We do NOT recommend this campsite.

If you like peace and nature, I would not recommend this. It is now 10:24 pm and there is another band with vocals two electric guitars and very enthusiastic drummer playing loudly. Terrible. Last year we went to Huttopia Vosges. Wonderful. This is no comparison. Crammed together. Water I the pool is cold. No privacy. I can understand that some people like this.

Washing up, living and laughing in the "Chalet" A twelve-day chalet vacation - at least according to the brochure. What we got was more of a thin-walled temporary solution with festival flair, somewhere between a wooden shed and a carport with sleeping accommodation. The chalet: - Covered terrace? Lifesaver - because in July it rained almost every. damn. Rained. every. damn. day. - Beds? More of a back experiment. Waking up in the morning as if you'd slept on a garden hose. - Dishwasher? Yes. Did the dishes, but didn't clean anything - Palmolive finger bath included. - Microwave? So filthy that it could probably pass as a biological research project. But Mitti cleaned it. - Dead mosquitoes on the wall? Decoration seems to be a matter of taste. - Cleanliness? More like "we'll do it with a flashlight and hope". And woe betide you if you park for five minutes too long in front of the chalet to at least get your luggage dry in the house when it rains - then the park police will be there like the Secret Service. But the fact that dead insects are stuck to the walls? Nobody seems to care. Priorities. The park itself? A transit camp for Efteling visitors. Many stay one night. Nobody because of the atmosphere. Playgrounds and sports areas? Alibimäßig available. The outdoor pool is okay, the indoor pool was closed. The water slide is fun - if you like pain. The supervision? Physically there. Mentally on TikTok on her cell phone. Probably working on her influencer career. The mini market? Has everything. Costs everything too. Pasta for €3, ketchup for the price of gold - but you can save yourself if you forget to shop. There are restaurants, but we didn't try them. After all, washing up was our new pastime. And now for the big, honest plus: The location is great. You can be in Amsterdam, the North Sea, Bruges or Ostend in no time at all. South Holland is really beautiful. So if you spend the day outside and only need the chalet for sleeping - it's kind of perfect. As long as you're not too sensitive about comfort or cleanliness. ⸻ Conclusion: 3 out of 5 stars - with a lot of goodwill and an early booking discount. Anyone who understands "chalet" to mean something other than a damp tiny house with a mosquito graveyard should look elsewhere. But if you're looking for robustness, black humor and a good starting point, you'll survive. And at some point later say: "Do you remember back then... in the Europarcs... with the microwave...?" PS: Just about acceptable for €1,700 with an early booking discount for July 2025 - if you know that "chalet" here doesn't mean Alpine charm, but dishwashing hands. Not a place to fall in love with, but a useful starting point. And if the rain doesn't stop, at least the Palmolive feeling remains.

Too many Dutch and too few Italians

Nice nature campground. Plumbing good clean. First week water of dd shower was not very hot. Second week it was better. Fine solid jet. Operate with button and it goes off relatively quickly. So much pressure for a good shower.

My husband, the children (aged 5 and 7) and I spent a week in a forest cottage. We immediately liked the park. The house was modern and very clean. The children especially liked the beach with the slide. But all the facilities, the swimming pool, the indoor playground, the mini golf course, the beach bar and the great playgrounds were great fun for all of us. The changing program for the children and adults was also very nice. We had a really good time!

What a gem of a child- and family-friendly vacation paradise! Initially we booked two weeks in a vacation farm of 6 persons but after the children had rated the Pampel on the the last day with respectively a 10 and a 9.9 (the water slide was not long enough ;) had assessed, a third week after good and fine consultation with the owner attached. This campground is "run" the way it should be, involved, guest-free, environmentally aware, mega child-friendly, approachable and there are rules, thank God! Yes you wear a wristband, and that's a good thing because otherwise it will be overrun by 'guests' who behave as if they were at an amusement park. Yes you have to sign visitors in and pay a symbolic amount per day for this, and that's a good thing because otherwise, as a paying vacation guest, you won't have a spot during your own vacation. Yes the owner and staff perform checks on visitors and vehicles, and that is a good thing because with this smiling roundabout simply enforce the rules that make your and my vacation a success. Beautiful pitches, friendly atmosphere, excellent facilities, excellent sanitary facilities, neat farmhouse with excellent beds, great surroundings and a fantastic program for the kids. Top located in a beautiful green piece of central Netherlands from where really everything is possible and easily accessible. Nice restaurants nearby, sufficient supply of recreational facilities and for more extensive shopping sufficient supply of supermarkets nearby. All 4 of us enjoyed it enormously and will definitely return, thank you! BALR
