I've been coming to this campsite for 3 years and I'll go back again. It's a very good campsite, even if it is very crowded. I'm talking mainly about the two pools: it's rare to have deckchairs available and to be able to swim peacefully with space. It's very well located (3 minutes from the beach, stores, restaurants, etc.). The first year I came in a caravan, the second in a tent, and this year in a bungalow. It's worth noting that the campsite itself doesn't smell very good (sewage odors, etc.). We rented a bungalow for two weeks, but the housekeeping left a lot to be desired. The crockery provided is not washed by the staff after each departure, so I advise you to wash it yourself before using it. The toilets had a peculiar smell, which was unpleasant throughout our stay. When you leave, you have to clean up. So we cleaned everything up, and honestly, it was cleaner than when we arrived. One small problem: the toilet became blocked on the day of departure. I tried everything to unclog it, but to no avail. So I left a note for the cleaning ladies explaining the situation and sincerely apologizing. Then I went to the reception desk to return the magnetic cards for the bungalow. In the meantime, someone from the campsite had checked in. The lady at reception then told me to go back and clean the toilets. I explain the situation to her, and she tells me she'll check with her superior. She comes back and tells us that if we don't clean up, they'll keep the deposit (100€... for a blocked toilet). So I went back and tried to unclog it again, but nothing happened. My boyfriend went to see the manager to explain the situation, pointing out that the toilets had already been smelly since we arrived. The superior replied, "Well, you should have come and told us," in a not very pleasant tone of voice. Frankly, it didn't cross our minds. We figured that since the campsite smells like sewage in general, all the toilets in the bungalows must be the same. I was racking my brains for 20 minutes trying to unclog these toilets... only for them to say, "We'll give you your deposit back." It's a really good campsite, but I didn't like the way they handled the situation at all. I'm a customer, I explained things honestly, I tried everything to solve the problem, and they beat around the bush for 30 minutes... just to finally give us our deposit back. Despite this, I still highly recommend it. But a word of advice: avoid clogging your toilet 😅😅.

The busy road at the entrance to the island makes a really annoying noise. The space to get out of the pitch is really limited and, fortunately, there was no one at the back, so I was able to turn around. We liked the spacious pitch

In a word: HONEST. We had booked a 2-day camping pitch at Huttopia Sud Archeche, charmed by the website's promises: a "vast pitch in the heart of nature", in the forest, "a corner of unspoilt nature" as they advertise it. So we got out the cash: almost 200 euros for two nights. We were dismayed to find that our pitch was made of roughly rammed, spongy earth, with the option of pretty pebbles, in direct sunlight... Our feet sink 5cm with each step, the sardines don't hold, and a rainy day is out of the question. After a request from us to change our pitch, which ended in an unpleasant refusal from Huttopia, we were told that the best pitches are reserved for people who stay longer (in other words, who earn more). Pompom? Our pitch (number 74) was actually an old dismantled chalet... hence the dirt floor and water inlet! For such a high price, it's disgraceful to offer such pitches. As a passing traveler, we advise you to head for a cheaper campsite, where you might find a decent pitch. Or BETTER still, book a hotel room for the same price. Special mention to our neighbors in pitch 75 who arrived and left immediately after discovering their pitch... With no chance of a refund.

Very very expensive , drinks, food, ice-cream,… not worth the money you spend. Gin tonic started @10 eur,…every year higher prices , but service still same , nothing significant changed

This restaurant the Boskant you can eat excellent, highly recommended, also the camper places are spacious, and very clean and neat sanitary, with for the dogs a lovely large forest Again this is recommended!!!! And very friendly service

What a nice campsite, what a pleasant atmosphere. From entry, questions in between, and on departure extremely friendly and helpful. Inflatable tires to float down the Kyll a bit are just to borrow. Just like bicycles etc. The food at the food truck: beyond our expectations. Simple (fries, schnitzel, etc.), but it tasted excellent. And for prices that were in NL ten years ago. Neat plumbing. Fine mix between tents, folding trailers, campers and caravans. Which adds to the atmosphere. The Eifel you don't go to for grand adventure and bombastic entertainment. Hiking, visiting ruins and castles, possibly some climbing and visiting a hidden car/motorbike museum. But if that's where you're going, this campground is definitely recommended. Of course, what you are looking for in a "fine campground" is very personal. We were looking for a somewhat smaller campground, but lively. Preferably as few annual pitches as possible, lots of tents, being allowed to make a campfire is a plus, some level of facilities like sandwiches, being able to get food (may be simple). And that is what we found here.

Wir sind mit dem Wohnwagen angereist. Die Autos dürfen nicht am Wohnwagen stehen. Es gibt in unmittelbarer Nähe einen Parkplatz. Die Waschhäuser sind in die Jahre gekommen was OK ist, allerdings dürften die Reinigungen öfter und gründlicher stattfinden. Die Duschen sind eine Katastrophe. Das Wasser kommt im 90 Grad Winkel aus dem fest in der Wand verankerten Duschkopf. Man kann weder die Temperatur einstellen noch geht die Dusche nach dem Waschen wieder aus. Es funktioniert über einen Bewegungssensor der schlecht funktioniert. Frauen mit langen Haaren ist es unmöglich diese richtig auszuwaschen. Es kommt wirklich sehr wenig Wasser mit gefühlt 0 Druck. Kleinere Kinder werden wahrscheinlich nur nass, wenn sie in der Dusche hin und her laufen. An den Waschbecken in den Toiletten gibt es keinen Seifenspender. Das Personal ist durchgehend sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist phänomenal gut. Es gibt nur eine Zentrale Möglichkeit Müll zu entsorgen. Die Mülltonnen am Strand laufen morgens und abend über. Der Müll liegt am Strand und wird auch nicht weggeräumt. Wir würden aber aufgrund der schlechten Sanitären Anlagen nicht wieder herkommen.

Campsite is located in the middle of nowhere. Very nice Dutch owners. Sanitary super clean. Holes cloth ed prohibited which is annoying in wet weather.

We are here with the caravan so no further review. On Tuesday the kitchen is closed so you can not get gluten free food at the campsite!!! Even no knakworst o.i.d. Very bad for such a large campsite

After having booked on record we got another place on the spot where our caravan did not even fit. After complaining we got another place which was a good option. Read the small print well.
