De Thijmse BergWhen we had almost given up hope for a weekend getaway with private pool I came across your ad on Instagram. Contacted you by phone and was super helped. Once arrived also a warm welcome both the sweet card in the house and the staff who stopped by to ask if everything was to your liking. What a beautiful location. Super nice decorated house, clean, neat and the garden is definitely there. The pool seemed small but it was more than enough and the kids / teenagers had a great time. Jeez I did not know of your existence earlier. We were also lucky with the weather, made beautiful walks in the woods and admired so many species of mushrooms. We had a long dinner in the garden overlooking the forest. The sitting area in the garden overlooking the pool was very popular with the youth. A weekend is actually much too short, next time we will hopefully come for a midweek.

Toen we bijna de hoop hadden opgegeven voor een weekendje weg met prive zwembad kwam ik jullie advertentie op Instagram tegen. Telefonisch contact opgenomen en super geholpen. Eenmaal aangekomen ook een warme welkom zowel het lieve kaartje in huis als het personeel die even langskwam om te vragen of alles naar wens was. Wat een mooie locatie. Super leuk ingericht huis, schoon, netjes en de tuin mag er ook zeker wezen. De pool leek klein maar het was meer dan genoeg en de kids/pubers hebben zich prima vermaakt. Jeetje dat ik niet eerder van jullie bestaan wist. We bofte ook met het weer, hebben prachtige boswandelingen gemaakt en zo veel soorten paddenstoelen mogen bewonderen. Lang getafeld in de tuin met uitzicht op het bos. Het zithoekje in de tuin met uitzicht op de pool was zeer gewild bij de jeugd. Een weekend is eigenlijk veel te kort, de volgende keer komen we hopelijk een midweek.

In rainy weather the camping pitches get very muddy and unfortunately they are not really level, so a leveler for the caravan or camper are necessary. We had rented a fire basket, unfortunately the wood you buy at the campsite is not dry, so it is better to buy this in the supermarket. The area is beautiful but think next time I will go for a more modern alternative.

Mooie camping m.b.t locatie, vanaf de camping zijn direct mooie wandelingen te maken in het Mullerthal. Sanitair is wel erg gedateerd en hangt een verschrikkelijke muffe lucht in de gebouwen en beetje verlichting S’nachts zal ook wel wenselijk zijn bij de gebouwen. Bij regenachtig weer worden de campingplaatsen erg modderig en ze zijn helaas niet echt egaal, dus een leveler voor de caravan of camper zijn noodzakelijk. Wij hadden een vuurkorf gehuurd, helaas is het hout wat je op de camping koopt niet droog, dus dit kan je beter in de supermarkt kopen. De omgeving is prachtig maar denk dat ik de volgende keer toch voor een wat moderner alternatief zal gaan.
