GulperbergThis campground was our base of operations for three hiking stages of the Dutch Mountain Trail. The relative proximity of bus station Gulpen allowed us to travel by public transport to train station Eygelshoven, vv. to bus station Vaals and return by bus from Slenaken. The third hiking day came very close to the campsite. Minus point is the scarce lighting/marking at stairs between sanitary building and pitch. In October it is already dark early where good lighting/marking of also the lower steps of stairs is essential for safety. Reported this but the report is not taken seriously. Therefore a star for safety in the dark. By the way, the plumbing looked neat and the water was hot. 10 A electricity, clean water and a waste water pit were also good. Less so is the internet bandwidth. Because there is no password security set and therefore did not have to be entered, I could not use an app useful at the campsite. Security level is insufficient according to the app.

Deze camping was onze uitvalbasis voor drie wandel etappes van de Dutch Mountain Trail. Door de relatieve nabijheid van busstation Gulpen konden we met OV naar treinstation Eygelshoven, vv. naar busstation Vaals en retour met de bus vanaf Slenaken reizen. De derde wandeldag kwam heel dicht langs de camping. Minpuntje is de schaarse verlichting/markering bij trappen tussen sanitair gebouw en staplaats. In oktober is het al vroeg donker waarbij goede verlichting/markering van ook de onderste treden van trappen voor de veiligheid essentieel is. Dit gemeld maar de melding wordt niet serieus opgepakt. Daarom een ster voor veiligheid in het donker. Overigens zag het sanitair er keurig uit en was het water heet. 10 A stroom, schoon water en een afval water put waren ook goed. Minder is de bandbreedte van het internet. Doordat er geen wachtwoord beveiliging is ingesteld en dus ook niet hoefde te worden ingevoerd kon ik een op de camping nuttige app niet gebruiken. Beveiligingsniveau is volgens de app onvoldoende.

Wir hatten tolle Tage hier, es wurde viel für die Kinder angeboten, Langeweile kam keine auf Die Mitarbeitenden waren ohne Ausnahme alle freundlich, das Haus war sauber und der Whirlpool bei der Ankunft wunderbar warm! Wir planen schon den nächsten Aufenthalt ☺️

Camping Les TamarisA beautiful place, accessible on foot, by bike or by car. For my part, by the path that runs along the coast. This cove is a magnificent place for sunbathing and diving. Très bel endroit accessible à pied en vélo ou en voiture. Pour ma part par le sentier qui longe la côte. Cette calanque est un lieu magnifique autant pour se faire bronzer que pour faire de la plongée. Un endroi calme et ressourcant qui permet de passer une très bonne journée. Si vous n'êtes pas convaincu venez le découvrir par vous même.

Paradies CampBeautiful, quiet and family campsite. The operators are very nice and we felt very comfortable there. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but absolutely clean. A new facility is under construction. The price-performance ratio is okay. You can eat well and cheaply in the small restaurant. We would love to come back!

Schöner, ruhiger und familiärer Campingplatz. Die Betreiber sind sehr nett und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Sanitäranlagen sind zwar in die Jahre gekommen, aber absolut sauber. Eine neue Anlage ist im Bau. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Im kleinen Restaurant kann man gut und günstig essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
