The location offers breathtaking views over rolling hills and fields, and is strategically positioned near historic towns like Cordes-sur-Ciel and Albi. Guests particularly appreciate the table d'hôte with varied, tasty meals, the daily bread service delivered to the tent, and the friendly atmosphere where connections with fellow campers happen naturally. We stayed at this campground in the beautiful Tarn region for 6 days! The welcome from the owner, Ben, was very warm and friendly. Ben and his wife have owned the campground since 2025.
The campsites for tents and RVs are very spacious and offer plenty of privacy.

After we settled in, we first explored the campground. We couldn’t quite figure out the three-star rating right away. The campground looked a bit deserted and is somewhat dated. Here and there, some maintenance is still needed. With over 25 years of camping experience, we expect just a little more from a 3-star campground. Perhaps the stars are awarded because there are rental accommodations available.

The restrooms are very mediocre. They’re outdated and, in some places, quite dirty and run-down. There’s a lot of grime on the side walls and floor. With a thorough cleaning, this could look much better! Perhaps a renovation is worth considering. Hot and cold water is a challenge. Push buttons that you have to press almost constantly—one moment hot water, the next cold. Rinsing out shampoo takes a while. Below par for a 3-star rating.

The restrooms are the hotel’s calling card, and you only get one chance to make a good impression!!

The bar is outside, and there are tables and chairs set up under a large tent. You can go there for a drink, ice cream, and dinner. It’s also the central Wi-Fi hotspot, so there’s always someone to chat with. Ben is a fantastic host. The table d’hôte meal prepared by his wife comes highly recommended.

The pool is great, and there’s plenty of space for the kids to play.

We had a wonderful time and especially enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.

We stayed in our small camper during hot weather. There is plenty of shade, and the pool is a good place to stay cool. The bar serves cold drinks and ice creams during the day.
There are weekend markets nearby where you can buy great local foods. All around the area are beautiful sights and historic towns.
Like many campers here, we will return.

This small-scale campground is worth a visit. Many sites offer a beautiful view of the hills and grain fields. You can choose between sites with plenty of shade or very little. The campground is very quiet and cozy. The bar is cozy, and you can also have dinner there in the evening. The fairly large swimming pool is beautifully situated. The friendly English owners have been running the campground for two years now and are working hard to make the grounds even more attractive. The restrooms will likely be upgraded as well, since they’re a bit dated. The campground is strategically located for visiting places like Albi and Gaillac. You can even easily bike to Cordes-sur-Ciel.

The campground is located in a beautiful spot between the towns of Cordes-sur-Ciel, Gaillac, and Albi. You can enjoy wonderful walks through the fields, go for a run, or ride a bike. Cool off in the pool and join the table d'hôtes a few times a week. A cozy, friendly atmosphere. Bread service available at the campground. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway and to enjoy the natural surroundings of the campground.
