We were there for the second time for 7 days, it was once again pure relaxation... For us the pony ranch is the reason to come back, our daughter is with the horses every minute and Anja... Help riding tinkering....🫶🏻

Friendly reception, spacious camping spot. Good sanitary facilities.

Were there with the caravan for a week in the fall. The site was only partially open, but there was plenty of entertainment and the open facilities were well maintained. We had a great family vacation. Unbeatable for children: Indoor playground, indoor pool and sandy beach for digging.

Beautiful terraced campsite. Short bike ride to Colmar, unfortunately the pitches were very muddy in September and only half of them could be used. Clean sanitary facilities. The pizzeria was already closed. The reimbursement of the requirements was done quickly and fairly.

It is a nice and spacious cottage with a nice spacious living room. The beds are pleasant and firm. The bathroom is also nice and spacious so you can move pleasantly in that space. Also the space around the cottage is good, enough private space. Is also in a nice area.

We stayed at RCN de Schotsman with our caravan and overall our stay was very pleasant. Booking and arrival The booking process was smooth and uncomplicated. The location of the campsite is really fantastic, right on the Veerse Meer, which offers plenty of opportunities for water sports and exploring nature. Playground equipment and activities Unfortunately, we found the information about the play equipment on the campsite map misleading. The selection ranges from a small sandpit to larger play equipment, which somewhat disappointed our expectations. The indoor playground is small, but well equipped and appealing to the children. Swimming pool The swimming pool was clean but a little chilly, and we found it odd that there didn't seem to be a lifeguard on site, which raises some safety concerns for families with children. Breakfast and gastronomy Another point we found detrimental was the availability of fresh bread rolls, which are only available from 9:00 am. This is a little late for us if you want to start an active day. On a positive note, the brasserie offers a welcoming atmosphere and is suitable for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cleanliness and sanitary facilities The cleanliness of the washrooms was not consistently satisfactory. It was difficult to tell when cleaning was taking place and the toilet brushes were not effective to use due to a protective cover. Many guests had similar experiences and wished for better maintenance of the sanitary facilities. Conclusion Despite these points, we liked the rest of the campsite. The surrounding area offers plenty for nature and water sports lovers, and the friendly atmosphere made our stay enjoyable. We can recommend RCN de Schotsman for a family vacation, even if there is still room for improvement.

Old-fashioned bungalow, hot water impossible to regulate (boiling or freezing were the 2 possibilities), exterior of bungalow not cleaned, swimming pool and snack bar kitchen purposely NOT sanitary, lady at reception very unpleasant and disdainful because we speak to her in French. Don't forget that if someone speaks to you in French, it's possible that they'll still understand Dutch, and your remark "Ah, noch ne frans" with its air of contempt, goes down very badly.

We came for the first time and we were delighted, the facilities are cared for in detail, ideal for children, very quiet everything, the animation staff ENCANTADOREEES and all staff in general, always solving any questions and helping us in everything we need at all times, we will return very often because we leave ENCHANTED!!!

Very welcoming on arrival and most staff spoke fluent English. The pitch was large and had utilities close by. The toilets and shower block were spacious and clean. The wi-fi had a strong signal and actually worked very well (we've been disappointed elsewhere). Snack bar and shop had everything you needed. We would highly recommend and stay again
