Booked spontaneously. And no regrets! Such a warm welcome. The host family was always there for a nice chat. The pitches were clean, tidy and lovingly laid out. There is a small and nice playground with a soccer pitch, an ice cream parlor and a somewhat expensive but extremely tasty restaurant. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you! Excursions recommended to Den Oever and Den Helder for the natural view of Seerobbrn. Both can also be easily reached by bike, without an electric drive! Alkmaar is also not far away. The Waddenzee with its beach bar is a dream. Thank you for a great time!

The beautiful pond!

Terrible experience..... the structure would also be beautiful but today is mid-August, animation absent or not received ... disorganized and inconclusive .... my daughter (who is just two years old) waits all day for the baby dance and tonight surprisingly they decided not to do it..... to the request for explanation we are told that the animation does communications only for a part of the village and not for those who instead stay in a quieter area .... dear gentlemen our money is the same as you receive from everyone else ... a swimming pool for the smallest closed for the day without any explanation .. so it would be appropriate that communications are provided to all campers.... and then please make a selection for the ' animation that of animation has nothing at all ..... Update of August 20 To the owner who replied to me that on the day of August there were announcements posted throughout the village and that at 9 p.m. there were no children present I must obligatorily reply .... First in the village there was no communication , the animators responded to our questions in the evening at 10 pm saying that in the afternoon they had communicated it to the water park so when he says that at 9 pm since there were no children it was decided not to make it says a falsehood because it had been decided by the afternoon.... If I were you I would avoid responding to reviews if you are not sure of what you are responding to because honestly you risk making a fool of yourself.... And also I would try to be a little more present since your staff is making water on all sides..... I remain horrified by the improprieties for example of the cleaning women who in the morning while cleaning do nothing but complain about how they are treated and how tired they are of the people inside the village that I would like to remind you help pay their salaries..... I remain available for any clarification . Update of August 22. I am not in the habit of retracting my reviews but I very much appreciated the professionalism of the director who personally took it upon himself to give me his explanations and clarify some basic points . Clearly there are many things still to be reviewed and the issues exposed remain but while before I would have sworn never to return to this place today thanks to the behavior of the director who personally puts his face with customers I say that I will probably return with my family with the hope that the professionalism of the director can improve the stay of campers

Campsite with a lack of cleanliness on the pitches. We found soda cans and all kinds of plastic garbage on our pitch! Ordered bread the day before, promised to collect it at 9.00am, but reception still closed at 10.00am, unacceptable! It's a shame this campsite is so well located between the Loire and pleasant villages.

Magnificent site, varied and enjoyable activities, super-friendly team!

This is the second time I've been here and everything is perfect.

Pleasant campsite in a pine forest 2km from the sea. 1.5 km from the first shop.

Large pitches with electricity, large wash house and two heated pools, the campsite is ok for the price-performance ratio. We spent three nights here with our campervan and child. The site has two pools, a great playground, two wash houses and pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes and various cabins for camping. There is electricity at every pitch, water can only be filled up in motorhomes centrally in front of the campsite. The sanitary facilities are good. There are plenty of showers (heat can be adjusted) and washbasins, but I missed urinals for the men. As we were there in the high season, it was very busy. In order for it to always be clean with so many people, the sanitary facilities would have to be cleaned at least 3-4 times a day (and the ceilings would also have to be cleared of cobwebs). It was never dirty, but there is definitely room for improvement here. There is a disposal station in front of the entrance for gray water and chemical toilets, as well as fresh water. This was functional. The rest of the site was good. The surrounding area is difficult to explore without a car or vehicle, as the site is very remote. But that was fine for us. As it was my first time on a 4-star campsite, I thought the campsite was ok. The pool was really cool and not too chlorinated.

We had a pleasant time at the zandstuve, Our fighting valley lodge was absolutely super. Plus points are the dishwasher, the nice shower, and the lounge sofa outside on the porch. When arriving there were mostly young children in our field. Later, fortunately, some children came who were a bit older which made our children play more fun. Making friends in the beginning is always a challenge. The pool is really nice. We went there almost every day. Also nice that there is an indoor pool in case of bad weather. The catering facilities on the square are also all very well organized. the wide range of choices surprised us at the Stuuf to Go. Brasserie de Stoof also looks very nice, and the menu is also fine. The park is nicely maintained and clean. A minus point is that the only soccer field is at the very back of the park, and it is really too small. Personally, I would realize a large soccer/sports field in front of the campground along with a slightly larger playground.

Perfect location, nice and central. The section we were in looked cozy. The kids had a great time at one of the two swimming and fishing ponds, with the entertainment team and at the tent. Very well cleaned!!! Friendly staff and a very nice atmosphere otherwise. We were honestly the first day afraid of how it would be, first impression was not too good because there were many outdated fixed mobile homes. But these regulars turned out to be very friendly.

These past few weeks we have visited several camp sites. And to be honest Huttopia Font Romeu was not up to standard. The location is great. Beautiful nature, lots of activities in and around Font Romeu (hiking,mtb, etc). Nice restaurants. The campsite itself is also beautiful, more than enough showers and toilets. Swimming pool is also nice - not enough beds though. Possibility to rent a fridge is a plus. However, - cleaning / hygiene of showers and toilets is FAR BELOW standard and quite frankly NOT ACCEPTABLE. We observed the cleaning was performed at 7am in less than 40 min whilst a proper cleaning would require at least 2 hrs. Toothpaste stains, mud, hair remain for days. - same appears for knowledge of staff. They do their best to help. For every question they refer you to the tourist office. At arrival you receive a place number and that’s it. We asked for hiking maps. We were told they don’t provide any anymore “because guests take them” (ehhh - yes of course…). - staff at the pizzeria seems to lack any form of structure in the ways of working. Pizzas are ok-ish (way too much cheese to our liking). Kitchen staff works with long hair hanging loose. We observed a staff member on 2 different occasions repeatedly coughing in his hand and putting his long hair behind his ear and then touching the pizza (hygiene, training!).
