Fine campground. Very much in the forest though, so lots of shade. Fine and clean toilet building. Food in restaurant reasonable, little choice. Mainly pizzas and very expensive. But delicious regionally brewed beer.

October 2024: Although it is forbidden by the park management to carry out major manual work during the vacation periods, heavy goods vehicles drive through the park and build new houses in the "forest" with a lot of noise. The peace and quiet is gone. As a visitor, you can only hope that the new properties will continue to be difficult to market, otherwise the vacation peace will be disturbed for years. May 2023: a lot of excavation work was carried out in 2021 and 2022. Almost 60 new homes have now been built and probably sold. More are to follow. Do the buyers know that they have bought houses without planning permission? Most of the houses are so large that planning permission is required to build them. I can hardly imagine that the park operator didn't know that. June 2023: the park operator distances himself from the many German guests by stopping conversation in German and will only communicate in Dutch. He doesn't trust himself to communicate clearly in German.

Nice campsite with clean facilities. Accepts ACSI and the staff are really helpful. The pools were nice The downside is that the road to the site is really poor. It’s full of potholes and temporary repairs. It makes driving it very slow and cycling to El Rosio is bone shaking ! Great site though

Very nice but somewhat austere park. Annoying is that there are people walking around who clearly do not belong here, some are so bold as to ask you to play cab and even for free. Small cleaning things, but for the rest a neat chalets, near the highway.

Needs some refurbishing here and there but wonderfully beautiful on the lake....

We are touring Italy in a rented campervan and stopped for one night. We were immediately shown to our site by a young man that was very nice. The campsite was near the water. All the campers are parked very close together. Although we prefer more secluded spots, we did enjoy meeting and talking to the other campers. Most of the activities at the campground were closed for the season but we knew that ahead of time. I’m sure this place is packed with families during the summer. As it was, we had a quiet evening sitting at the edge of the lake. Truly a beautiful view!

Tiny house with jacuzzi. Enormously enjoyed and unwinded. Cottage compact and fully equipped. Environment great nature.

What a wonderful campground! We are touring Italy in a campervan and this campground was a perfect fit. The staff was very friendly upon arrival and answered all our questions. The campsites are spacious and there are hedges to separate each site. The bathrooms were great and kept clean. We utilized their services to dump our grey and black tanks. One of our struggles with touring is the lack of easy parking in towns. The staff showed me where camper parking is for campers (lot P 13) and it is a short, but steep, hike to the gondola that will take you to the old town and castles. 6 minute easy drive to the parking lot from the campground. First time in Italy that we found such easy to navigate instructions. We had a wonderful day in old town! Our three nights at the campground were wonderful. We came at the time of year the pool and activities had ceased. But there were still things to do and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was a struggle to think of something the campground could do to improve. The only thing I might suggest is to add more electrical hookups. Our cord that came with rented van was short. The only way to plug in was to run my cord underneath our neighbor’s camper to reach the electrical outlet.

Super campsite. The houses were very nice, just a bit cold underfoot. There is so much to do for children. The petting meadow is great. There is also a children's club. The swimming pool is not nice but great that there is one and totally functional. The bathing lake in summer is of course also great.

We were on site for 2 days...beautiful campsite right on the reservoir... Sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. You can order baguettes for breakfast in the restaurant... From the campsite you can take a nice hike to the castle or the dam. You have the feeling you are on a campsite in Sweden.

Everything is great, clean and friendly, simply awesome, and I miss the ice cream 🍨 here

I was actually disappointed by the Gardssee region. Houses like in the former GDR. Disastrous traffic conditions and totally overcrowded villages And that in the low season.
