This is not recommended! The beautiful pictures on the Internet do not correspond to reality at all. It is actually just a campsite where many regular guests stay in their own mobile homes or chalets. It looks messy partly because it is a hodgepodge of accommodations. The paths are super bad with potholes etc. The power network is not sufficient for the luxury they offer in the accommodation. If you want to heat you have to turn off the boiler, if you want to cook you have to turn off the heater, etc. The feeling of luxury is far from being achieved because of this. In addition, there was no coat rack or hook in our accommodation. And also no hanging area in the closet. Especially with winter coats not useful! In the living room there was seating for only 3 people, even though it was a 4-person house. There is far too little cutlery and crockery. Because of this you have to unnecessarily turn on the dishwasher after every meal. And when it is on, the heating or the water heater has to be turned off again. The boiler did not have enough capacity to shower with 2 people in a row. The 2nd person would already have cold water. We were there during New Year's Eve. It was supposed to be a fireworks-free park. Hence our choice to go here with the 2 dogs. Unfortunately it turned out to be less true. The fireworks flew around your ears. And there was absolutely no control. One of the consequences was a fire at the park. A shed and 2 cars on fire. The service of the reception and facility service were also not what it should be. On a report of missing inventory, there was a somewhat dumb look. Then the question "do you need anything from this?". Well at a minimum a pair of scissors would be handy. This was just snatched away at the reception. And with the rest of the list was done nothing. So the next guests are also left with too little inventory. And the technical service came to look because the air conditioning did not work. He also could not get it to work. Solution "I can call someone for this, but he will not come anyway". In other words, no solution. They should just keep this park for the regular guests and stop renting it out. During our stay we saw a lot of guests complaining at the reception.

I'm amending this review because after an unfortunate experience in 2020 at this campsite, I've been back several times. Without a reservation, the last one in October 2024. A big change, the managers are very accommodating, the pitches are large, the sanitary blocks well heated and the campsite very clean. In short, an excellent stay at this campsite, which I've been visiting regularly for nearly 20 years.

All in all a nice place. The pitches are nice and big. We were here in the winter after Christmas until January 3. We chose this place because of the advertised wellness. Unfortunately the wellness area doesn't even come close to the size of the site. We only had the chance to get in twice in 7 days, on all the other days there was always a note at the entrance saying it was full. On the 2 days we were inside you had to queue to get into the sauna, there were also very few loungers, we didn't get any. The staff a Mr. in the area do not follow the usual sauna rules, here people walk around with their swimwear and partly in underpants. They then go into the sauna with them. Some came out of the apartment with the bed sheet and would have sat down naked on the wood. the two gentlemen who were there either disappeared into the technical room or stood outside smoking. Cups and mugs for tea and water were always missing. Children only have access from the age of 14, nobody was interested in that either. So this wellness area can be forgotten in the main winter season. I am extremely disappointed, we drove many hundreds of kilometers. If we had known that we could have looked for a place closer without wellness. Next time I would rather look for a place where I have to pay for wellness and can then use the offer. Here it is included but what use is that ? The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. There is only one self-service store that can only be entered with an EC card, there is no restaurant on the site. The area is really great. The sanitary facilities are good. In summer a top place. Shopping in Hermagor can also be reached on foot in 10 minutes. There you will find everything, sports, food, hardware store, etc.

Mixed feelings... Upon arrival at the 10 person cottage it turned out there was no bath in it even though it was listed on the site. Called the reception after which was first told that it should have been mentioned when booking, then they said it was not on the site and then the story was that the cottages all had no bath.... The next morning the bath had disappeared from the website... no excuse or concession.... The cottage has enough showers and toilets. Unfortunately 1 shower not usable. Also many dirty rubbers in the shower. Rooms are cramped. 15 cm beside the bed to get into the shower. Living room is absolutely not suitable for 10 people. If you all want to watch movie, half have to go outside in the garden.... Sauna is wonderful. Kitchen is well equipped, enough cutlery and crockery. Enough pans etc. Nice spacious fridge and freezer. Beautiful surroundings, nicely landscaped park. Nice waters, thought of privacy. Beautiful hiking area next to the park. Nice animal pasture with cute curious goat. Miniature golf course was gone. Nothing can be reserved at the reception, it all has to be done through the site. You then have to pick it up again at ... the reception. Escaperoom game was a lot of fun!

This place is an amazing place to spend time with family. This is our fourth Featherdown Farm experience (and first outside the UK). We were not disappointed. The location was delightful and our hosts were exceptional. We loved the pizza evening and our two children had a great time with all of the animals, especially the rabbits and the dog, Willem. And a shout out to Joyce who spent a memorable afternoon taking our children riding on Cato, a massive but adorable horse, followed by washing the two tiny Shetland ponies. A truly memorable, but all-too-brief stay!

Romance and relaxation combined perfectly. The views, the organic atmosphere, and the luxurious tent made it unforgettable.

First and last time We will not come back Small bungalows, old, lack of kitchenware etc. We were stranded, isolated by the snow, no water, etc. Nobody responsible in the campsite They do not pick up the phone, which they provide. A disaster !!!! Here we are stranded without knowing when we will be able to leave

Beautiful nature, very friendly staff and cozy accommodations.

Camping for camper vans, motorhomes, caravans and cabins. Located in a beautiful place with swimming pool and beach. The facilities are very complete and new. You can walk to Las Negras, an easy 15 minute walk on a non-dangerous road. The wifi is only good in the common room, in the plots does not work and there is no coverage of the companies. Make sure the price before arriving, they charge what they want, we were several together, and each one paid an amount.
