Super stay for the 3rd time at Huttopia Lac de Carcans. The site is ideally located just a few meters from the lake and a few km from the ocean, the tents are spotless, the staff very professional, welcoming and friendly. Really a great time!

We arrived at The Betuwe without prior knowledge and were pleasantly surprised with our choice. Friendly and spontaneous welcome by Iris who quickly showed us around the campsite. A very large park with a not so large part tourist sites for tent, caravan, camper (approx. 50). But they have lots of space, electricity and water on each pitch and access to fantastic sanitary facilities. On the field where we stood with 29graden Celcius, there were also enough tall trees to provide beneficial shade. And the grass? A lawn!

Got a pitch right by the river and near the pool … welcome excellent and thoroughly enjoyed our stay ☀️🤩🏕️

Chalet fully equipped it was clean and goe the beds enough inventory.We missed outside a few easy chairs on the terrace. Renting sunbeds is not a good idea in my opinion. We are an elderly couple and prefer a few easy chairs to relax by the water. Our adult children thought it was fine.

Lovely campsite nice pitch for our motorhome

Small and nice camping ground. We used it as a base for our trips to the surrounding area (Strasbourg, Colmar etc.). For that it's perfect. The is a small bar open on weekends (Friday - Saturday), and a nice heated pool. The facilities are fine. The service and assistance we experienced was very good and kind and very helpful. English and German understood at the reception for the most part, no problem.

Access roads are too narrow for RVs

This campsite was an excellent surprise, thanks to the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the chalets, their cleanliness and the environment. I'll be back with pleasure. I hope the flooding in the valley has stopped, we're thinking of you.

A EVITER pour les cyclistes chargés sur la Dolce Via. ..très forte pente pour accéder et pire pour remonter sur la Via si le type à la réception vous colle tout en bas...jolis bungalows pour touristes aisés mais aucune structure d'accueil pour les cyclistes. .des abris cyclistes ?...tellement bruyant la nuit avec le barrage non loin qu'on y arrive pas à dormir de la nuit...prévoir les bouchons d'oreille... aucun accueil, juste pour encaisser... ni poubelle ni bacs de tri : il faut tout remonter vers la Via par cette pente à 12 % minimum de 300 m environ.. pas de bancs pour s'assoir lorsqu'on est à vélo et qu'on ne se charge pas de sa chaise... 1 table de pique-nique trouvée au fond du camping : aucune info.
