Expensive campsite, average value for money. Friendly staff. Not enough toilets for the size of the site.

Super campsite. Spotlessly clean sanitary facilities. Spacious pitches in wooded surroundings right on the water. 10 minutes by bike from the village.

We thought it was too expensive, we went by bike and tent and we paid the same as a caravan, the most expensive campsite in all of France, basic services, our pitch smelled of urine.

No old rhine but old gang

My wife and I hosted our wedding at the Gîte Pagel, and it’s was simply amazing ! The space is gorgeous, we had about 30 guests that stayed the entire weekend, and everyone just loved it ! The different apartments are very nice and cosy, it offered everyone enough intimacy for the weekend, but also everyone could easily join common areas during party time. We hosted the party and reception by the pool, which made it so unique and fun ! We had the ceremony taking place in the fields down the property, it was like doing the ceremony in the middle of the woods, simply beautiful! The space is extremely well equipped for kids, with multiple playgrounds and play spaces in every apartment! This is just perfect when you have multiples families with young kids ! Finally, the owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was going well ! They’ve been amazing and so nice to work with in every aspect of the preparation, installation and operation of the wedding. Thank you so very much for making this special day even more special !!

Very nice and well-kept complex and chalets... From there you are quickly in De Koog... Located in the center of the island...

It is the second time we visit the campsite and we will continue to do so because it is disconnection and fun, fantastic staff, great cleanliness ... thank you very much for this weekend, we will return.

A beautiful terraced campsite with plenty of shade and friendly (Dutch) management. Because the campsite is a bit outside the village on a hill, it is an excellent address for those looking for peace and quiet! It is a good base because it is centrally located between the beautiful towns of Celle, Lüneburg, Soltau and Uelzen. The campground has an appointment with the swimming pool nearby. The area is "green" and is therefore also used by military personnel for exercise. Those places are closed to the public, of course, but more than enough recreational space remains. The Lüneburg Heath is anyway an area that encourages you to bike and hike. There are also special museums: among others, in Fassberg the museum about the Blockade of Berlin (1948-1949) and the camp "Bergen-Belsen". Not far from the campsite is a train station, so you can take the train for a day trip to, for example, Hamburg.

Fine pool for our region!!!

Good campsite, unfortunately our pitch was very sloping had problems aligning to stand reasonably straight. The young lady at the reception was very arrogant at the registration, not everyone has sufficient language skills but I had my cell phone with me to translate but she kept chattering and I only understood fragments. Not customer friendly!!!!

Great location in beautiful surroundings

Been to Tusken de Marren for the fourth time this year, I think that says it all. A hospitable and beautiful vacation park in beautiful surroundings, especially if you like water. Friesland is a beautiful province, with lots of nice villages and towns to visit when the weather is not so good, but renting a boat is what we like best.
