We couldn’t agree on where to go as we had a budget. He wanted sunshine and relaxing, I wanted a little adventure and fun for the children (2 girls, 8 and 10). The day before I got a cheap ferry and booked this Huttopia, not our usual holiday…. Oh my god, we had a great time, I couldn’t recommend this place more! It’s only 2hr drive from the ferry. The cabin was lovely, spacious with our own decking but it was the peaceful, chilled communal area I loved. The pool isn’t huge but it’s big enough with sun chairs all round, loads of games put about to play, shepherds hut with welcoming staff reasonable priced drinks, great freshly made pizza. I loved 6pm playing UNO with a glass of wine while the girls finished off their day with a final dip in the pool and then we played table tennis/ boules. Everywhere was clean, well kept and thought out. There was activities for the children to do but I honestly cannot express how it’s chilled, not chaos yet still great fun. Jeanne was a credit to the place, as was the rest of the staff. Close to the lake there’s gorgeous views, a self made beach, pedalos, paddle boarding etc and fishing. Great first Huttopia experience and won’t be our last. Thanks for a great few days.

Le Camp was the perfect place to spend our family holiday. The tents were large, spotlessly clean and luxurious, ours (Masai Mara) had a lovely view across the natural pool and down the valley. The communal cooking and eating area was huge with plenty of space to do your own cooking , lots of tables and comfy seating for relaxing in the shade. It was sociable if you wanted to be but also large enough to make your own space if you preferred. The natural pool area was a haven for butterflies and frogs, with a beautiful clean refreshing natural pool. Paradise with many hours spent relaxing here. Anne and Philipe were lovely hosts, full of recommendations which made for wonderful days out (kayaking, biking, local markets) - this really is a gorgeous area of France to spend time. Cannot recommend Le camp enough!

The first time we are in this campsite. We went with a tent and the plot we had was big. The only bad thing was uneven, it would be advisable to flatten it, the toilets were also close and clean. The only thing to improve would be that they put the bathrooms in the tent. The only thing to improve would be to put soap to wash your hands and showers, of 6 that were, 3 did not have hot water. Otherwise a large and very nice campsite. Many people moved by bike. It had a water park. My 9 year old daughter had a great time. There was also children's entertainment and we will definitely come back again.

This campsite is really great! You feel good here, with your family it's ideal, the atmosphere is great. I recommend it 100%. We'll be booking again next year!

On hot days you find out that the pool is pretty small....

We had a lovely week, Very attentive staff, activities for the very young to the very old, very clean sanitary facilities! Thank you to the staff for allowing us to spend a pleasant week with our children. We'll be back 🙂👍

Very pleasant family stay in the Sweet tent, Clean, well-equipped and comfortable accommodation, shady pitch. Campsite staff particularly pleasant and available. Activities and play areas very popular with children! Ideal location for discovering the Ile de Ré by bike (rented on site!). On the negative side the main road is busy during the day... but quiet at night wear and tear on the pool liner, which doesn't prevent swimming! Very positive overall experience!

A very nice campsite, super clean. Mega spa. Friendly staff. We will be back.

Beautiful park

This is a beautiful camping near the beach and plenty of services. You'd not go wrong if you decide to head into it.

We had a wonderful stay, The kids loved the nearby beach and we appreciated having restaurants within walking distance, The kitchen was well equipped, which facilitated meal preparation
