We stayed 4 days with the camper as a nice place but the facilities bad, poorly maintained and dirty...breakfast at the bar to forget for the poor cleanliness...for the lake is a nice place but loses otherwise.

That the campground still has 4.3 stars is because of its location and past. The campground belonged to a nature-loving owner until about 4 years ago. Then sold to a chalet builder whose son does everything he can to mess things up. In 3 years time 6 managers who all had to leave for the son who wanted to make a euro out of every penny. People with more than 30 years of history are bullied away. Facilities poorly or not cleaned. Trees cut down and cabins placed unlicensed. Staff used to be there pretty much their entire working lives and were there for everyone. Now no staff willing to work here anymore because of atmosphere and behavior of son love. Restaurant closed 2 days a week in high season. Other days visited by about 20 people per day. Whether you can still call it busy as described on its own site.... Too bad! We hope that palief will once again see that son is a fine patser, but has no talent for the camping business. It is no longer a five-star campsite.

A rejuvenating stay in a Huttopia perfectly located just a few steps from the resort of Font-Romeu, a central location for all mountain activities in the area.

We stayed the middle two of August at this beautiful campsite. The animation of the campground makes the stay quite lively, all good coordinated by Fabio and Maurizio to whom I must give kudos.

We spent a good week in a tent lodge (the only drawback was parking) Very friendly staff. The pools are great. However, the small sanitary block wasn't very clean.

Our 6th Huttopia experience and definitely another good one. I read a lot about sold out bread, dirty plumbing and a closed pool. We stayed there for several nights during the week of August 18 and did not experience any of the above. The swimming pool could use an upgrade and it is true that 1 washing machine is not enough on a campsite of this size, but it certainly did not bother us! A tip from us would be to level the pitches a little more, because for us it was already difficult to straighten our VW camper, let alone if you sleep in a tent! :) The campsite itself is otherwise nicely situated on a slope and at many points you can look straight into Switzerland! Staff was friendly and helpful! Also, the price per night for high season is always very reasonable at Huttopia, if you compare it to other campsites in France, for a family of 4!

Long pitches not really practical, dividing hedges too low. Showers not very clean. We wanted to eat pizzas in the restaurant area but didn't stay (cobwebs in the chandeliers, floors not cleaned...so I'm not sure about the state of the kitchen). Not worthy of a 4-star and a little too expensive. We won't be back.

Not sure why there are poor reviews of this site. We had a fabulous 6 nights here. Great staff, clean facilities and excellent bike hire. What a great city and the cycle paths along the river are amazing. Fresh delicious bread in the mornings at a reasonable price. We don't didn't use the pool area (although it looked good and lots of families enjoying it), swam in the nearby lake instead which was lovey. Would definitely return and recommend.

Top campsite!!! Kids had a great time. Great beer menu, good food in the restaurant and friendly staff! Swimming pool and playground very nice! Nice camping on the Semois river!

What a great vacation! What more can we say about this campsite? It offers a breathtaking view of the lake! The staff are irreproachable, especially at reception where we were welcomed as we should have been! I'd recommend it with my eyes closed - thanks again!

Excellent stay. The location is perfect: you can walk to the town center and to the Roc & Canyon outdoor excursion sites, which is a big plus. The campsite is close to the center but at the same time in the middle of nature with lots of vegetation and access to the river from the campsite. The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling and available, with special thanks to Clement for his dynamism and good humor with the children. If you have a dog, it's paradise, because in addition to the river, there's a huge plain right next to the campsite where you can let your dog run free :). The welcome was great, you feel expected, it's really nice. We go to Huttopia every year (Village or Campsite), and this one is a real favorite. The only negative point: the incomprehensible waiting time for pizzas, so we moved on to small restaurants in town.

Lovely place, I have been there for three non-consecutive years. When there was only one pool and this year with the new one. Very clean campground. The only flaw is the pool service in the evening, it is poor. In my opinion due to lack of staff. Ecological islands neat and clean. The new pool, the ultimate in relaxation. The market has the acceptable prices, very friendly staff. Bathrooms very clean.
