Beautiful campsite, pitches of various sizes with lots of trees and bushes. Nice and spacious. The playground is great, the petting zoo a little highlight. You can also play basketball, volleyball and table tennis. The pool is nicely laid out and there are plenty of places and loungers in the shade. The sanitary facilities are quite old but absolutely adequate for our needs and mostly clean. The entertainment for the children is great, the two girls take a lot of time and are very flexible in terms of what they offer. They also respond to what the children want, without a predetermined program. At first I found this strange, as we are not used to it. But we actually liked it better this way. We were only passing through here, but would love to come back and could also imagine an annual vacation here.

The campsite is located a short distance from Orgelet and from the stunning Lac du Vouglans. The family are so welcoming and friendly. If you're travelling from UK, just note that in France, all businesses stop for service from 12-2pm, which is normal. Snack bar is great, pool - small but v clean, and warm, 2 x table tennis which were never busy. Whilst we were there, our car broke down, and they let us stay the whole day whilst we tried to sort a hire car. They helped call the agency who were difficult to get hold of, and then even transported us and all our equipment gear to Orgelet to collect our car. The only things that you need to be aware of are the toilets and showers are all mixed and sometimes the showers are cold. But we're used to camping, so this didn't really bother us. Great value.

Camping Lei Suves is an oasis of peace and serenity; the welcome was warm and all staff members were helpful and ready to meet our needs. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

Large campsite with its own pool. The grounds are spacious. Dogs are allowed. The staff are very friendly. The sea is 150m away as the crow flies, but unfortunately the campsite is 90m above the sea. There is a vehicle that goes to the beach at certain times.

Very nice family campsite with trees and well laid out. We discovered it by chance; we were supposed to spend the night there, but ended up staying for 4 nights. The owners offer a very friendly welcome and the site is very pleasant, quiet, but with enough entertainment (shared meals, concerts, board games, outdoor playground, swimming pool...) to make for a pleasant vacation. The sanitary facilities are very clean. And you have a choice of accommodation: we slept in a very comfortable hut (wooden tent). You can also eat on site with local produce (the grills are succulent!), and there's a small grocery store. In any case, this campsite is worth the detour just for the dynamism and kindness of its owners, who are always at your service. We're big fans of unannounced overnight stays, so we know where to stay when we're in the area again! Tony and Anne, the Cherbourgeois!

Ideal location for discovering the Loire and its castles. The campsite is very pleasant, situated on the banks of a river, and the welcome is charming.

The equipment and the very stylish furnishings of the houses

Very run-down facility and very unprofessional handling of problems in the accommodation. Instead of a reasonable solution, you are put off, put off and repairs are not done well. Comment from reception on the condition of the accommodation. "We are aware of most of the problems. These are our oldest chalets and we don't actually rent them out anymore" Then it should also be the case that it is no longer rented out. Or only at special prices. I am very disappointed to pay full price for a dump. One star is even too much for the accommodation. The rest of the complex is also run-down. There is a lot of sand at the bottom of the indoor pool and the paint is crumbling in the outdoor pool. A very large proportion of the playground equipment is broken, and the tennis court is battered. In short, the entire facility could do with a general refurbishment. Only the surroundings with the lake on the grounds and the view of the river are quite nice.
