Camping de Kleine WielenSafari tent booked to stay for 3 days. Excellent decent tent with kitchen, fridge, coffee (filter) machine, fine beds. Plumbing (on the island of Leeuwarden) leaves much to be desired, it was good clean, and nice hot (free) water but otherwise everything falls apart. This really needs an urgent renovation. The area is really fantastic never thought that nature can be so overwhelming. And the birds at sunrise deafening. Otherwise had an excellent stay.

Safari tent geboekt om 3 dagen te verblijven. Uitstekende degelijke tent met keuken, koelkast, koffie (filter) apparaat, prima bedden. Sanitair (op het eiland Leeuwarden) laat te wensen over, het was goed schoon, en lekker warm (gratis) water maar voor de rest valt alles uit elkaar. Dit heeft echt dringend een renovatie nodig. Het gebied is echt fantastisch nooit gedacht dat natuur zo overweldigend kan zijn. En de vogels bij opkomst van de zon oorverdovend. Verder uitstekend verblijf gehad.

Huttopia Chardons Bleus - Ile de RéVery pleasant stay, friendly and responsive staff! Bike hire is great for touring the island, and the campsite is well placed. For the brave, the heated pool is very relaxing despite the unseasonably cool temperatures. At least you're all alone! And last but not least, I love the gypsy caravans :)

Séjour très agréable, équipe sympathique et réactive ! La location de vélo est super pour faire le tour de l'île, camping bien placé. Pour les courageux, la piscine chauffée est très relaxante malgré les températures encore fraîches pour la saison, au moins on est tout seul ! Et enfin, coup de cœur pour les roulottes :)

Recreatiepark het EsmeerThe place is nigthmare, they took my deposit while I should get it back. They have system that is chaging prices to one paid at the booking - we need to pay more! There is some online system to check it - but its not working properly. People at the park that work there are rude and dont help at all. You need to pay for everything extra and its a joke! I will never come back to that place!

From the very first minute we felt like we were in the Garden of Eden! The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed and welcoming, the surroundings breathtakingly beautiful and the staff simply unbeatable. 🤩Fantastic food and service The food in the restaurant was an absolute highlight. The menu offers a fine selection of delicious dishes, all prepared with fresh, regional ingredients. We tried our way through the menu and were, with one exception, completely delighted with the food. The service was also impeccable. The staff were always friendly, attentive and helpful. Our wishes were fulfilled promptly and with a smile. We were particularly impressed by the multilingualism of the team, which meant that communication went without a hitch. Friendly and empathetic owners The owners of "de Parel" are two absolutely warm and friendly people. They took care of us and made sure that we wanted for nothing during our stay. You can tell that they run their resort with a lot of love and passion. Absolutely recommendable! We can praise "de Parel" to the skies and recommend it without reservation. You are not just a guest here, you are treated like a friend. Wow, life is nice! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Paradiesisches Erlebnis im "Resort de Parel in Zeewolde" Hier haben wir in KW 20 - 21, in Haus 33 eine absolut unvergessliche Woche verbracht. Von der ersten Minute an fühlten wir uns ungefähr wie im Garten Eden! Die Atmosphäre ist unglaublich entspannt und einladend, die Umgebung atemberaubend schön und das Personal einfach unschlagbar. 🤩Fantastisches Essen und Service Das Essen im Restaurant war ein absolutes Highlight. Die Speisekarte bietet eine feine Auswahl an köstlichen Gerichten, die alle mit frischen, regionalen Zutaten zubereitet werden. Wir haben uns durchprobiert und waren, bis auf einmal, von dem Essen rundum begeistert. Der Service war ebenfalls tadellos. Das Personal war stets freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Unsere Wünsche wurden uns prompt und mit einem Lächeln erfüllt. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Mehrsprachigkeit des Teams, so dass die Kommunikation völlig problemlos verlief. Sympathische und empathische Inhaber Die Inhaber des "de Parel" sind zwei absolut herzliche und sympathische Menschen. Camping du RivageWe definitely do NOT recommend this campground. We would camp Friday to Tuesday in May 2024, with the caravan. Upon arrival we saw that our spot 41, which we had even paid extra for, because t would be a nice spot 😢, was already quite wet. Asked for another spot, there was not, that's possible and nobody can do anything about heavy rainfall, but the tone of owner Ron, or yes landlord of the campsite and his brutal/angry attitude to stay safe and dry behind his desk to grumble and take a negative attitude, that does not testify to good will to welcome your vacation guests in a friendly manner and to think of a solution or at least show your goodwill to mean something. In the end our place was completely flooded and looked like a pool full of clay water. You saw t water rising. The worst thing was that the owner knew it very well, because the entire drainage of the roof literally flowed over the road to place 41 and it rained very hard, all day and the pump that was used extra, could not handle it at all. We were advised to move the car because it could flood🫨. It really wasn't normal, but Ron kept on being rude that he can't do anything about it. Finally decided to break down again, go home, without even being allowed to receive any compensation, but even then did not get out of the campground, without much help from many kind people, including the friendly benevolent employees who have to work under bully Ron. They apologized every time, but they can't do anything about it and thanks again for your honesty, thoughtfulness and your fine help. So we absolutely do NOT recommend the campground, especially on friendliness and thoughtfulness of the owner, as all beautiful places. We have been camping for 40 years but we have never experienced this. Also had to pay for everything and only stayed for 3 hours. Hospitality and unfriendliness at the top.

Wij raden deze camping zeker NIET aan. We zouden vrijdag t/m dinsdag in mei 2024, kamperen met de caravan. Bij aankomst zagen we dat onze plek 41, waar we zelfs extra voor betaald hadden, omdat t een mooie plek zou zijn 😢, al flink nat was. Vroegen om een andere plek, was er niet, dat kan en aan flinke regenval kan ook niemand iets doen, maar de tonatie van eigenaar Ron, of ja verhuurder van de camping en zijn brute/boze houding om maar veilig en droog achter zijn bureau te blijven zitten mopperen en een negatieve houding aan te nemen, dat getuigt niet van goede wil om je vakantiegasten vriendelijk welkom te heten en mee te denken voor een oplossing of in ieder geval je welwillendheid tonen om wat te kunnen betekenen. Uiteindelijk stroomde onze plek finaal onder water en leek t op een zwembad vol kleiwater. Je zag t water stijgen. Het ergste was dat de eigenaar dat goed wist, want de hele afwatering van t dak stroomde letterlijk over de weg naar plaats 41 en t regende kei hard, heel de dag en t pompje wat extra was ingezet, kon dit absoluut niet aan. Er werd ons aangeraden om de auto te verzetten, want die kon wel eens onderlopen🫨. Het was echt niet normaal, maar Ron bleef maar onbeschoft te keer gaan dat hij er niks aan kan doen. Uiteindelijk besloten om weer af te breken, naar huis te gaan, zonder ook maar iets van een vergoeding te mogen ontvangen, maar kwamen toen al niet van de camping af, zonder veel hulp van vele lieve mensen, waaronder de vriendelijke welwillende medewerkers die onder bullebak Ron moeten werken. Die verontschuldigden zich telkens, maar die kunnen er niets aan doen en nogmaals dank voor jullie eerlijkheid, meedenken en jullie fijne hulp. Wij raden de camping dus absoluut NIET aan, zeker niet op vriendelijkheid en meedenken van de eigenaar, als allemaal mooie plekken. Wij kamperen al 40 jaar maar dit hebben we nog nooit meegemaakt. Ook alles moeten betalen en maar 3 uur gestaan. Ongastvrijheid en onvriendelijkheid ten top.

De AchterhoekWe were there for a week with the bikes. Accommodation Velthorst4. The first impression as in the photos. The beds were too soft for us and it was difficult to ventilate. Not all the windows could be opened and the others had no fly screens. We are used to this from other mobile homes. The dishes available were sometimes disgusting and we could not use the microwave with grill function for baking despite the instructions for use. The janitor service is quick to help with repairs. The door was difficult to close. But when the shower water flooded our bathroom we did it ourselves and removed the drain grate and the old tufts of hair. Nevertheless, it is a great area and everyone is typically Dutch and relaxed.

Wir waren für eine Woche mit den Fahrräder vor Ort. Unterkunft Velthorst4. Der erste Eindruck wie auf den Fotos. Für uns waren die Betten zu weich und mit dem lüften schwierig. Nicht alle Fenster konnte man öffnen und die anderen hatten keine Fliegengitter. Das sind wir von anderen Mobilheimen anders gewohnt. Das vorhandene Geschirr teilweise schon eklig und die Mikrowelle mit Grillfunktion konnten wir trotz Gebrauchs Anleitung,nicht zum Aufbacken benutzen. Der Hausmeister Service ist bei Reparaturen schnell zur Stelle. Tür ließ sich schwer schließen. Doch als das Duschwasser unser Badezimmer flutete haben wir selbst Hand angelegt und das Abfluss Gitter entfernt und die alten Haarbüschel entfernt. Trotzdem ist es eine tolle Gegend und alle typisch holländisch relaxt.

Camping La Roche d’UllyDon't go there in low season, you'll be very badly received. N'y allez surtout pas en basse saison, vous y serez très mal accueillis. J'étais pourtant restée sur une bonne impression en y étant allé il y a quelques années en juillet, mais hors saison le personnel est très désagréable et aigri durant leur préparation de la haute-saison et on nous fait ouvertement comprendre qu'on paye moins cher qu'en été et que pour cette raison, on n'a pas le droit de se plaindre de quoi que ce soit
