If there was a medal for the best service, then the sweet lady at checkin, she should have them all. Other than that, it's a gorgeous place, and I can imagine it's busy in high season. Would love to stop by when the road passes here again

(written by partner) +++ Very friendly staff at reception, helpful. Pool and playground all well maintained, neat. Domain also well maintained and neat. It is nice that you can enjoy something to eat and drink by the pool. The guys who did the service were also friendly, only I think that for 3 stars there may be service at the table, ordering at the bar ok, but when it's ready and you're at the table I think it's more appropriate that they bring it. The campground was quiet and remote so I liked that. --- The only thing that really bothered us was the smell of sewage from the paper factory + from the ladies' toilet block, it really ruined our vacation as it meant we couldn't enjoy anything without being nauseated by the smell. Too bad we did not read this earlier in other reviews because it is really HUGE. The fact that there is no toilet paper & not even hand soap to wash your hands after using the toilet is not pleasant either, everything becomes ''a task'' when you should be able to enjoy your vacation, going to the toilet you already have to think of your toilet paper, soap and a towel. The shower timer in the shower where I 1st went stopped quite quickly, because of this I had to push as many as 10x before my long hair was rinsed out. As a result, I could not really enjoy my shower and it took even longer than usual. The freezer for your icepacks is only available during opening hours (9am & 6pm) which means you can't pick them up during an outing until the evening. At the previous campsite the freezer was available all day. I think the cleaning staff were students because it was not always very clean. I also find it bizarre that there is a surcharge for additional booking at the campsite itself compared to online booking. Online it would have cost me €30 now I paid €42 for an extra day, this is a big difference and is not communicated. We had booked an extra day because I was wrong and got there a day early. tips: I would recommend for rubbers or plastic 'rounds' between the doors of toilet/showers as they make a huge amount of noise so sleeping out was not an issue for us either.
