Liked: The size of the site Disliked: Lack of cleanliness of sanitary facilities

Always nice to be back on the small beach. Been coming there for over 13 years now, but am far from done with it.

I've been a camper for over 25 years throughout southern Spain every summer and this is definitely one of my must-see summer and every year is better. I have been visiting this campsite for 4 consecutive years where my children have a great time. The monitors have an exceptional treatment, the camping staff super attentive, the cleaning staff, all day cleaning, bathrooms, sink area, sinks, plots, ... exceptional. Also as a parent traveling with my children I love when some uncivilized gets smoking toxic substances and from the campsite they call attention. This detail does not have it in all campsites for it, for the treatment, generosity, .... I love it. Congratulations team, continue like this. See you soon

The roompot bell villa was a beautifull and new holiday parc. It was very remote on the edge of a small village with a very bad and bumpy entrance-road. The lodges were great, modern and reasonably clean. We really missed a big garbage bag, unfortunately ours was so small that it was almost full after only 1 diaper. We asked for a new one but didnt get a bigger one, probably because Bellvilla insist on throwing your garbage away separated in the big containers. Bellvilla has a nice restaurant and a great area to play for kids in and outside. What we missed was the possibility to drink a cup of coffee in the morning; unfortunately the restaurant / bar opens only from 12:00 during the summer.... Besides this we had a great stay, beautiful surounding in the Ardennes with lots of active things to do. The locals seemed friendly and in Neufchateau there is nice lake for swimming, drinking, eating and play areas for children.

Quite a nice place, which recently also has a camper van site. The pitches there are on gravel and fairly level. Access is also possible with larger mobile homes. At the beginning of August there were still plenty of pitches available, even without a reservation. However, access is only possible via the campsite. And the barrier there remains closed after 11 pm. So you probably can't come at night. Actually, you could also make a second entrance independent of the campsite. Maybe that will come. In the neighboring green area you can go out with the dog. The site is very expensive for a pitch at just under 40 euros including everything. But you can also use the showers, toilets, pool and restaurant at the campsite. However, the site could do with more showers and toilets. You have to wait more often.

The only drawback is that the mobile home's bedrooms are a little small for my dad, who finds it hard to move around. I hope to come back, the beach is 500 meters away.

One of the worst experiences in this place. Shameful to smell sewage and bathroom all the time and everywhere. There is obviously a piping problem that hasnt been fixed and we spent 4 days there. This place went backwards since the new management. If you think you're coming to sit in nature, the waste water smell, sewage and bathrooms will ruin your time.

Luxury tents with even air conditioning! Nice to be able to see dairy farm up close and made our own cheese. Pony riding was also fun. Nice farm store with local products and of course cheese v own farm. Ice cream machine on site with self-service fun for the kids! Did have a lot of trouble with bird chasing noises due to fruit growing around. Every 10minutes cannon shots went off and this started early in the morning. This disturbed the peace. Less view of the children playing because it was not a field, but a rather narrow avenue with tents.

We were in a bungalow. Good to know that these are on the canal. Should you have children who cannot swim you will have to keep an eye on them when playing outside. Bungalows are fine in terms of furniture. Beds are simple. With the garden furniture we missed a large parasol (there is a small one but it offers little shade). Inventory is sparse. Small point of attention is that the bungalows need some maintenance, small improvements already make a big difference. To give an example, our bungalow had large circles of leaks in the roof panels. And mosquito nets should be placed in front of the windows. The bungalows are separate from the campsite. The campground is otherwise neat. There is a supermarket for daily necessities. For the children a kids club. A small indoor playground. And a small indoor pool with a nice paddling pool and for slightly older children a straight pool and 1 slide. For our children 6 and 10 years old fine to entertain themselves for an hour. In bad weather and full campsite/park the capacity of the pool is not sufficient for all guests. There is a restaurant, French fry shop and pizzeria. At the French fry shop you can eat fine or take away, restaurant and pizzeria we did not use. For water lovers there is a large lake with two swimming beaches, a small harbor and many fishing opportunities. We rented a boat in the harbor (belongs to the campsite) and spent a day sailing. Nice trip! Approx 30 min from Leeuwarden and Dokkum. Nice places to visit.

An idyllic place to disconnect

Beautiful location and surroundings. We had some startup dings that were super kindly fixed. Just have some tips, have the extra parking area provided with grass concrete boulders, then it won't be such a blubber mess. This was also the case at our cottage. We saw that in newer cottages this was solved by a wooden decking. The children enjoyed the river that flows through the park. There is plenty to do.
