We spent three days here. We did visit top parks before and were generally satisfied with them. We know what to expect from the cottages (cardboard walls, you can hear everything, moderate quality) but the parks themselves are full of nature and well maintained. So it also applies to this park. Nice outward appearance but then some things come to light: the indoor pool is very outdated (only about five booths to change clothes, dirty and you can not from inside to the outdoor pool), the indoor playground is only from 4 years, the other playgrounds are nice and maintained but not for the little ones. There is no shop on the park (closest is 15 minutes away).||We had a number of problems in our bungalow (sink could not be filled, dishwasher tablet holder broken, front door hangs at an angle, ...). We have reported this to the reception but they just about laughed at us (ach will be fine. Is not important were the words ... This unfortunately reminds me of previous reviews here. ||The restaurant was nice and fair prices. Recommended to eat in between. Conclusion: nice park, beautifully maintained but old-fashioned pool and the cottages (we had a Rialto 6 people) were very close together and really have cardboard walls!

Overcrowded campground too few and dirty plumbing. Small sites with dangerous little poles in tall grass that caused me ugly damage to car. Families with screaming spoiled teenagers living it up demolishing and dirtying. Garbage containers overflowing. Wifi not working.

I liked: A very comfortable and clean campsite, we liked it very much.

My experience about our three-night stay in the Drakenei at Veluwecamping 't Schinkel. Although it was a unique experience, I would like to make a few points.||The bed in the Drakenei is egg-shaped (about 1.80 x 1.80 meters), which made it difficult for us to sleep comfortably, especially with a three-year-old toddler. The only round window (which cannot be opened) in the accommodation lets in a lot of light, which made it difficult to go to sleep early and caused us to wake up early because of the light. We ended up using clothespins, a dark sheet and a pillow to block most of the light. Also in the doorway is a round window with no screening, which made privacy and light control difficult. It was quite warm in the Dragon's Egg and at night we needed a fan for a comfortable temperature.|The interior space is limited: there is a bench and a small drawer for storage. Because of this, you live outside a lot, which was convenient due to the beautiful weather of 25 degrees during our stay. The Dragon Eggs are close together in a small shaded field, which creates a cozy atmosphere and makes it safe for children to play together. However, it can also be noisy in the evening.||It is nice that you can park your car right next to the Dragon Egg. There is a playhouse nearby and the pool is next door. Unfortunately, despite the heat, we didn't get to use the pool much because the water was very cold. My toddler was chattering teeth and had blue lips because of the cold. Even the paddling pool was too cold, which would make heated water desirable here.||We spent most of the time next to the paddling pool sitting on a rug in the sun, but on hot days that's not sustainable with a little one. There is little shade around the pool and playhouse, so we often went out in the area. Fortunately, there was plenty to do in the area and we enjoyed good food, a visit to the steam train and the cross garden.|The bathroom facilities were nice, clean, modern and within walking distance. The family showers each have a five-minute timer, which was sometimes inconvenient with a toddler. In the beginning, it takes some searching because there are no name signs pointing the way. You just have to know where something is.||The camping staff was friendly, always the same two people. At the reception there is a small store where you could get some basic things, but for the big groceries we went to the supermarket at another park (Landal or Veluwehof). Unfortunately, the ice cream cones were soft and seemed old. The restaurant was closed, which was a shame, but you could get French fries and snacks at the snack bar. Had little nuisance from other guests, which was nice.|All in all, it was a nice experience, but longer than one or two nights at the Dragon's Egg is not feasible for us due to the heat and lack of blackout. In addition, we were sorry that the water in the pool was so cold and that there were few shade options around the pool and playhouse. This made it a little more difficult with a small child.

Pleasant campsite and very clean mobile homes. However, there is a lack of entertainment. The food is good but the service is long, lack of organization. And it's a shame that the APM bar isn't open. To have a drink or a snack on the terrace.

Liked: very nice, quiet and clean place to stay, camping places have enough space

Clean, green, wooded campground with friendly staff and nice pool. Close to the beach where a free bus runs back and forth. Highly recommend this campground. Animation is fun but not over the top. The music is not as bad as some reviews suggest. This is at most at the neighboring campground. Which is slightly less tidy it seems

Les Ormes / Parenthese / Vallee du Lot... New owners (Huttopia) have clearly invested in updating the infrastructure, but the wet spring was not kind (works not completed, ground not recovered). Staff are lovely, helpful and efficient. Still an even split of Dutch/ French/ Brits and the vibe around the campsite has not changed in 14 years. ||At the farmhouse, the independently run restaurant has gone. It and the courtyard are now the hub with reception, pizzas, bar and snacks. Lovely atmosphere. 👍🏻||Pool area has been re-decked; the cool snack truck has gone😭, as have the S-bend sun loungers replaced by more space efficient deck chairs.||Lake Pizza Bar is present but not operational (apparently viability is being assessed for future years).||You can now set up a credit tab at reception and let the kids pile on the ice-lollies/ drinks. Hooray!(?) 🤔||I expect that the works will be completed, it all tidied up and settled down again before the '25 season. Rock on Huttopia; great start, credit to your team. Please don't plant any inter-pitch hedges: that would be the death of this place. 😉

Tyckte om: Nice and calm place for family. The children loved the playpark. A camping that is taken care of. Fresh toilets and showers. Also very friendly.

We did not like the vacation. Therefore, we will never come back. It is outdated and in need of renovation. The planes whizzing around your ears every day and not ordinary but fighter planes. (You get completely crazy of)|the animation comes every day at half past 10 with a golf cart with music and microphone. (so you can not sleep here) | Then also a few times a week someone comes to mow the grass while the places just occupied. (Do not ask me why it was just irritating and then also at your awning 10 cm mowing) Is it still in them to prune and pull up the gravel. |The water of the pool is freezing cold!!!!!! |Even with 30 degrees it is freezing cold and you are shivering. |The slide is very dangerous with steep stairs and leaks in at least 3 places. The restaurant is very expensive and there is never anyone sitting there (not a good advertisement)|I would not recommend the deep fryer either. With stomach ache and limp fries.|You can better in the village what to get. (Sometimes it looks like a prison there is always someone at the gate. If you want to visit you have to pay an entrance fee even if you just drink a cup of coffee. |We had a lot of noise from the youth especially at night (loud music and shouting)|Now they are working on the renovation, but then the new toilet building is under water because the drain can not handle it. The showers are new, but you don't get enough hot water at all or the shower literally turns off after 7 seconds. Youth try to destroy it and make messes. The partition in the shower is not long enough at all so all clothes get wet and some showers were missing a shelf for shower soap.|It was really the worst vacation we have ever had with the caravan.

Polubione: Jedynym plusem jest cisza na campingu ale nawet to nie przekonuje mnie, żeby kiedykolwiek tutaj wrócić. Niepolubione: Bardzo słaby camping. Znajomość języka angielskiego prawie zerowa, tylko Pani z recepcji coś trochę ogarnia. W restauracji większości dań nie ma które są w karcie a Pani kelnerka to totalna porażka nie dość, że nie ogarnięta to w ogóle nie mówi po angielsku przez co pomyliła nasze dania. Jedzenie słabe, pizza w smaku gorsza niż mrożona. Sanitariaty zaniedbane, nie działały spłuczki w toaletach. Ogólnie camping sprawie wrażenie brudnego i zaniedbanego. Nie polecam!
