We found a beautiful oasis at this campground. We stayed for a week (far too short) in one of the safari tents—really close to nature. It was well-equipped with a private bathroom and shower. From the terrace, there’s a panoramic view of the forested mountains of the Cévennes. There are also some very nice, varied bungalows, beautifully arranged.
A very well-equipped campground. The highlight for us was the lagoon with its fine sand—a touch of the Caribbean vibe in southern France… ☺️ but also the sports facilities, which were in great condition. Because of the heat and wind, we didn’t end up using them every day, but we did use them almost every day.
The friendly staff at the front desk and in guest services—always super friendly and warm—top-notch! And an attentive groundsman/security guard named Fred, who’s the heart and soul of the campground 😉.
If, like us, you’re staying in the quietest back corner of the resort, the walk to the pool, lagoon, and sports facilities might be a bit of a hike—but we’re way too fit to complain about that 😄, and the exercise is a pleasant part of our vacation!
We also visited the restaurant—though it wasn’t our main focus; we have nothing but positive things to say about it as well.

Eine wunderschöne Oase haben wir mit diesem Campingplatz gefunden. Wir bewohnten eine Woche (viel zu kurz) eines der Safarizelte - besonders nah an der Natur. Ausreichend ausgestattet mit eigenem Bad / Dusche. Von der Terrasse ein rundum-Blick auf bewaldete Berge der Cevennen. Es gibt aber auch sehr schöne verschiedene Bungalows, sehr schön angeordnet.
Sehr gut ausgestatteter Platz. Highlight für uns die Lagune mit feinem Sand - ein Hauch KaribikFeeling in Südfrankreich… ☺️ aber auch die Sportanlagen in super Zustand. Wegen Hitze und Wind haben wir sie am Ende nicht jeden Tag aber doch fast jeden genutzt.
Die freundlichen Damen und Herren an Rezeption und im Service - immer super freundlich und herzlich - Top! Und ein aufmerksamer Hausmeister/Security Mitarbeiter namens Fred als die gute Seele auf dem Platz 😉.
Wenn man wie wir in der ruhigsten hinteren Ecke des Platzes untergebracht ist, ist der Weg zum Pool, Lagune und den Sportanlagen möglicherweise etwas beschwerlich - aber sich darüber zu beklagen sind wir viel zu fit 😄 und die Bewegung ist uns angenehmer Begleiter im Urlaub!
Das Restaurant haben wir auch besucht-stand für uns aber nicht im Mittelpunkt; auch dafür wäre nur positive Worte angebracht.
Wir würden jedem diesen tollen Platz wärmstens empfehlen und denken selbst über ein neues Abenteuer hier im nächsten Jahr nach… -

After spending roughly twenty years at La Clémentine Campground, I can tell you that this year has been my worst vacation yet. If things keep going like this, I’d advise everyone to avoid it. Compared to last year, when Dimitri was there with his professionalism, his warm welcome, and his good humor—it’s nothing like that anymore. Without him, it’s just not the same.

A very pleasant campground; the lagoon is a memorable sight to behold, and the staff is very friendly—a special thank you to Kevin and Suzon, who are both very kind, cheerful, and helpful. Kudos to you both for being so attentive to the guests. The water aerobics and massages were pure bliss for the body, and the therapist was so kind. In short, we had a wonderful time at this campground—thank you to the entire team.
