Vakantiepark HölteThe cottage has a spacious living room and fine beds. There is plenty of closet space in the bedrooms. The shower is nice and spacious. We were there during a wet November week, but the cottage warms up very quickly! There is plenty of space around the cottages and there is plenty of privacy. Especially when the bushes will soon be fully grown. It is a small-scale, start-up park which adds to the tranquility. Although the park has no reception (which is in a park 10 minutes away) you can always call them and we were always very friendly and helpful.

Het huisje heeft een ruime woonkamer en fijne bedden. In de slaapkamers is ruim voldoende kastruimte. De douche is lekker ruim. Wij waren er in een natte november week, maar het huisje is heel snel lekker warm te krijgen! Er is genoeg ruimte om de huisjes en er is voldoende privacy. Zeker als de struiken straks volgroeid zijn. Het is een kleinschalig, beginnend park wat de rust ten goede komt. Hoewel het park geen receptie heeft (die zit in een park 10 minuten verderop) kan je ze altijd bellen en steeds werden we zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig te woord gestaan.

Camping Mar y Sierra oudWay out of town but in a quiet locality, place is great for dinner. We went with friends from Ancona who visit this place on and off so got personalized service. The food was good, wine OK and evening ambience good for a day out. Saw a lot of locals who knew each other, friendly banter was on. Families celebrating, others having fund and nice dinner. Place had a friendly, bubbly and positive atmosphere, we liked it. The Dessert Tiramisu was different from what we had in other places in Europe, not the typical one you would find in other Italian places, wonder what version it is ? :) Reportedly, the camping ground next door gets pretty packed in season and is popular, has a pool too. You would need a car to get here, or a long long walk on the dusty and lonely trail.

Holiday Park GellooAgain, unfortunately, we could not get in to eat. According to the website, the restaurant was open, and there was a flag by the road, to draw attention to the restaurant. There were about 10 other people eating, but unfortunately there was no room for the two of us, as there was a meeting later that evening. We were allowed to eat in the conservatory, but it was just as cold there as outside, which was also not strange, because the door was just open all the time, and there seemed to be no heating in the conservatory.

Alweer konden we helaas niet terecht om te eten. Volgens de website was het restaurant gewoon geopend, en er stond een vlag bij de weg, om de aandacht op het restaurant te vestigen. Er zaten wel ca 10 andere mensen te eten, maar voor ons 2en was helaas geen plek, er was later die avond een vergadering. We mochten wel in de serre eten, maar daar was het net zo koud als buiten, wat ook niet raar was, want de deur stond de hele tijd gewoon open, en er leek geen verwarming in de serre.
