Mini Camping Drentse MondenThis was our third time at the mini campground, but the first time with the new owners. We received a friendly welcome and we soon saw that a new playground equipment had been installed on the lawn. The pool was filled but full of leaves/not clear etc. Asked for help and this was responded and helped positively. But nevertheless not attractive to swim while it was incredibly hot. About the plumbing I am not to speak. For the first time I found it there incredibly unhygienic. Looks like it is not cleaned daily. Insects that we saw dead on the wall in the shower on Monday were still hanging there on Thursday. To spare further details about the toilets and shower drains. A hefty deposit is required to leave the cabins tidy, then I expect good hygiene from the campground as well. Too bad!

Dit was onze derde keer op de mini camping, maar de eerste keer met de nieuwe eigenaren. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en we zagen al snel dat er een nieuw speeltoestel op het grasveld was geplaatst. Het zwembad was gevuld maar vol met blaadjes/niet helder etc. Gevraagd om hulp en hier werd positief op gereageerd en geholpen. Maar desondanks niet aantrekkelijk om te zwemmen terwijl het ontzettend warm was. Over het sanitair ben ik niet te spreken. Voor het eerst vond ik het er ontzettend onhygiënische. Oogt alsof er niet dagelijks wordt schoongemaakt. Insecten die we op maandag dood aan de muur zagen hangen in de douche, hingen er op donderdag nog. Om verdere details te besparen over de toiletten en doucheputjes. Er wordt een fors bedrag aan borg gevraagd om de hutjes netjes achter te laten, dan verwacht ik ook goede hygiëne vanuit de camping. Jammer!

Luxury tents, which are very well equipped with an excellent bathroom including bath, toilet and 6 beds (including 2 double beds), game box, kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, Lavazza espresso machine, . On the grounds plenty of go-karts, toys and sandboxes. The pool with a depth of 1.40 meters is only suitable for holders of swimming certificates or children with life jackets and wings. The store provides fine organic cheese, milk, butter, eggs and meat as well as wine, beer and snacks. Sandwiches and croissants can be ordered. French fries and pizza nights and barbecue packages (there is a Weber barbecue at each "tent") complete the experience. Everything has been thought of in the tent: air conditioning, 4-person seating inside / chairs outside, dining area inside / picnic table outside, outdoor fireplace and hammock. Aico and Kirsten are laid-back dairy farmers and cheese makers cum B&B owners who also make it very fun and educational for children with "animal feeding," animal "cuddling," tours, a campfire with marshmellows and a farm passport. Highly recommended: our grandchildren and we loved it.

Luxe tenten, die zeer compleet zijn ingericht met een prima badkamer incl. ligbad, toilet en 6 slaapplaatsen (incl. 2 tweepersoons bedden), spelletjeskist, keuken met koelkast, vaatwasser, Lavazza-espressomachine, . Op het terrein volop skelters, speelgoed en zandbakken. Het zwembad is met een diepte van 1.40 meter alleen geschikt voor houders van zwemdiploma's of kinderen met zwemvest en vleugeltjes. De winkel voorziet in prima biologische kaas, melk, boter, eieren en vlees maar ook wijn, bier en snacks. Broodjes en croissants kunnen worden besteld. Frites- en pizza-avonden en barbecue-pakketten (bij elke 'tent' staat een Weber barbecue) completeren het geheel. In de tent is aan alles gedacht: airco, 4-persoons zitje binnen / stoelen buiten, eethoek binnen / picknicktafel buiten, buitenhaard en hangmat. Aico en Kirsten zijn relaxte melkveehouders en kaasmakers annex B&B-eigenaars die het ook voor kinderen heel leuk en leerzaam maken met 'dieren voeren', dieren 'knuffelen', rondleidingen, een kampvuur met marshmellows en een boerenpaspoort. Een absolute aanrader: onze kleinkinderen en wij vonden het fantastisch.
