Boerderijcamping het KatreelWhen we got the idea 4 days before Pentecost to do two nights with the motorhome, we ended up at camping farm 't Katreel Haaksbergen. After having spoken to the owner on the phone, it was immediately clear that I was dealing with a quiet person who thinks with me, who if possible is not too strict with times of arrival and departure, which was very pleasant for us, we could cycle for 3 days with two nights. And beautiful cycling is one thing you can certainly do from there. Legion of beautiful routes around Haaksbergen, we cycle as a rule 40 to 55 km in a day, and certainly could have ridden 7 or 8 routes there, had we been there longer. Afternoons, when we returned, a lovely hot shower and the extremely clean washroom was a must. Our hosts are still in the process of making the site suitable for 25 family sites, with 10 AMP. electricity, water tap and Wifi for each site, in addition there will be 2 playgrounds with equipment for children and it is our intention to create a small petting zoo. During our stay, the owners, including parents and acquaintances, were fully engaged in the realization, without causing nuisance to the standing guests, so there was noise producing machines waited until an ider had slept well enough, and also regularly came the question of whether we were bothered. All in all, we are convinced that, partly due to the price-quality ratio, this is a farm campsite that is more than worth the five stars we gave it.

Toen we 4 dagen voor de Pinksterdagen het idee kregen om toch nog even twee overnachtingen te doen met de Camper, kwamen we uit bij kampeerboerderij 't Katreel Haaksbergen. Na de eigenaar aan telefoon te hebben gehad, was het gelijk al duidelijk, dat ik het hier te doen had met een rustige meedenkend persoon, die indien mogelijk niet al te stellig is met tijden van aankomst en vertrek, wat voor ons zeer prettig was, konden we bij twee overnachtingen 3 dagen fietsen. En mooi fietsen is een ding wat je vandaaruit zeker kunt. Legio prachtige routes rond Haaksbergen, wij fietsen in de regel 40 tot 55 km op een dag, en hadden daar zeker wel 7 a 8 routes kunnen rijden, waren we daar langer geweest. Middags, als we terug kwamen was een heerlijke warme douche en de extreem schone wasgelegenheid een must. Onze gastheer en vrouw zijn nog volop bezig het terrein geschikt te maken voor 25 familie plaatsen, met voor iedere plaats 10 AMP. stroom, waterkraan en Wifi, daarnaast komen er 2 speelplaatsen met speeltoestellen voor de kinderen en ligt het in de lijn der bedoelingen er nog een kleine kinderboerderij bij te creëren. Tijdens ons verblijf waren de eigenaren incl. ouders en kennissen volop bezig e.e.a. te verwezenlijken, zonder daarbij overlast bij de staande gasten te bezorgen, zo werd er met geluid producerende machines gewacht tot een ider ruimschoots had uitgeslapen, en kwam ook met regelmaat de vraag of we er last van hadden. Al met al zijn wij er van overtuigt dat dit, mede door de prijs kwaliteit verhouding, een boerderij camping wordt die de door ons gegeven vijf sterren meer dan waard zijn.

Vorig jaar ook een huisje bij jullie gehuurd, maar we misten de gezelligheid/aankleding. Nu was het leuk ingericht. Zijn maar kleine dingen, theelichtjeshouder, boedha beeldje, wat deco materiaal, maar het maakt het toch huiselijker.
