From 16 to 26 May we stayed in the Finnish chalet No. 3. A 6 person cottage where we could stay with all the convenience with our dog. The car can be parked next to the house. In the instructions we were told that the dog could not be walked in the Park, this is very inconvenient since it is at least a few hundred meters walk to the exit of the park, but here we comply. Unfortunately, not everyone did the same. The location is perfect. From the village of Dochamps (a few hundred meters walk) you can make a beautiful walk of 9 km. There are also shorter walks possible from the park. The town of La Roche is a perfect 10-minute drive away where most groceries can be done. From there again several walks are possible. As for the cottage, two bathrooms are a wonderful luxury. We slept downstairs because it was nice and cool there. The WIFI was unfortunately not available in the cottage. On the balcony, however. An oven was a shortcoming, we could adjust to this just fine, but heating up a Lasagne or Pizza is unfortunately not possible in this cottage. The water pressure on the kitchen faucet is also very low. We experienced all temperatures, from 12 to 30 degrees, and it always remained comfortable in the cottage. The south-facing balcony makes it wonderful in sunny weather, the umbrella can be easily folded out. Summary: a beautiful location, clean cottage with neat basic necessities and within easy reach of towns like La Roche and Dinant. Chapeau!!!!

Chapeau!!!!

Very nice and neat campsite. We had rented a mobile home. This one is very neat. Just a pity that you only get 1 toilet roll and 1 small garbage bag, especially if you stay with 4 people for 4 days, and do not know this in advance. Otherwise we had a great time.

The park is completely filled with rows of tents and caravans. Not attractive, really aimed at getting rid of as many houses as possible. When we arrived there were workmen working next to us with loud music. At the reception the owner? reacted rather irritated and he was not going to do anything about it because chores were allowed. Later the lady came to fix it anyway but what a reaction! At the playground we found a bill (see photo) that nicely reflects the tone of this owner. Cottage was fine, though much broken and cheap choice in terms of material. Therefore also rickety. Location is top, lots to do nearby. Park does not have a nice atmosphere, not recommended.
