A relaxed three star campground at 1300 meters altitude in beautiful surroundings for hiking (and horseback riding and skiing). Open all year round (except November I understand). Good food in the garden (breakfast and evening). In short: well cared for campsite by Jos and Lia in a mountain environment that can be cool.

Really a beautiful campsite! Clean and well-kept. However, absolutely not suitable for large motorhomes. Especially not in bad weather. Because the pitches cannot be accessed. The nurses were really eager and friendly to find the right place for us (despite advance reservation in April!). However, due to a very unfriendly but much more uncooperative camping guest, we decided to leave the site again after less than an hour. We would have liked to rate it more, but we can only say that small caravans and motorhomes will find a great place here. Large motorhomes, on the other hand, will not. For a better comparison: our motorhome is 7.5 m long and 2.30 m wide.

We had a great time at Le Clou. A predominantly Dutch campsite but we still felt very welcome as an English family. Very well geared up for small children with nice touches like small play areas dotted around the site. Great restaurant food rather than just burger or pizza. Attractive site and pitches. We would visit again.

Beautiful location, nice staff, nice restaurant next to the campground. Plumbing was very outdated and dirty. Extremely substandard, such a shame and unnecessary. Showering is with coins and there is NO toilet paper. The tent site was beautiful, with apple trees. With great regularity a train passes nearby.

Lovely bungalow and nice facilities.

At last, a REAL campsite with REAL owners, a place that only real campers will appreciate. Not all that superficial stuff you find in tourist traps, but a campsite with beautiful pitches, a small restaurant, a swimming pool, children's games, clean sanitary facilities and friendly, smiling owners, all for a very reasonable price. The kind of address you pass on to friends and look forward to coming back to, thank you both and see you next year, the Holtzmann family from Alsace.

Beautiful house. Good towels and bathrobe service. Unique wellness cottage. Good location in relation to the Veluwe.

The tent was partially in the shade, which was nice, especially given the extreme heat.

Lured by the site,photos and description we booked a tent site. We found ourselves in a poorly maintained campground with too many negative aspects: - unhealthy swampy environment full of mosquitoes. -animation described among the services,but not present - sinks in the pitches,dirty,broken and hidden among the trees swarming with all kinds of insects (requested maintenance,never arrived) -custodian not present in late evening and gates not closed -restaurant open only three days a week (different management than the campground) -market often closed (run by the same bar staff who open it when needed) poorly stocked and with products of various brands - swimming pools (managed by other owners) very large and of various heights, with considerable potential ... pity that the flooring is dirty and slippery, the white plastic deckchairs abandoned to dirt and neglect. What can I say: misleading advertising!

No respect for holidaymakers, either for others or for the cleaning staff. Noise from 7:30 to 00:30. Children do what they want, cars drive too fast in the campsite. Cars are on the road every night despite the opening hours. Personally, I'd block the gate. The entertainment in the restaurants is good, but for those who eat there last, you have to hurry because the evenings start at 9pm. Meals are too expensive and there's no children's menu in the evening. The seasonal reception staff should be better trained, as they were of no help. Pitch too small and fridge rental too expensive for the state they're in. Washing machine at 6€ per 7 kg also too expensive, especially as it hardly washes anything. All in all, we're not about to come back.

It was a lovely stay. Ideal that there was a large playground equipment in the middle of the field. The safari tent was clean and fully equipped.
