We stayed here for 1 night on transit back home. Friendly reception by reception. Large campsite with many regular guests. Everything looks neat and tidy. Plumbing is top. Some unrest in the parking lot because of passing young people? Restaurant I am less pleased. Long trip behind, glad there was a restaurant. We came inside there was nothing said to us only 2 menu leaves for us laid down. After seriously half an hour there was still nothing said and nobody has been at our table, with 3 children that is not very nice. We left.

Very pleasant stay in your campsite. Very quiet. Just 2 or 3 suggestions, lack of lighting at night to go to the sanitary block in relation to our pitch, ditto for the sanitary block exit where the spotlight doesn't work at night. Pitch not shaded enough for us. And finally, the pool area needs a rack or racks for storing shoes, as it's a bit of a mess. All in all, a nice campsite, especially for teenagers. Entertainment every evening.

Stayed 2 weeks with our tent. The pitches are spacious enough, playground is fun for the kids and the play barn is the godsend in bad weather! Owners are super friendly people! Plumbing is okay, only I found it a pity that there is only 1 washer and dryer for the whole campsite. We thought the price we paid was definitely enough for what you get in return, very basic camping....

5 stars mainly because the managers are so sympathetic and helpful. Nice location between the trees, great diversity of houses and semi tents. Short vacation with family . Place of pure relaxation , courtesy and kindness the key words . I recommend it to those who want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and find some peace .

High expectations we had of this campground. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. Animal feeding was a disappointment for our children. Short, rushed and no personal attention for the children. Collecting eggs was the same, one child had an egg and the other did not. I do understand that a chicken doesn't lay enough eggs for all children, but you can't explain that to a 3 year old child who is naturally disappointed when he doesn't get an egg and his sister does. Buy extra eggs maybe? Trampoline on the field is not safe, it is constantly hit with collisions. The trampoline is simply too small for the amount of children. Toilet visits are uncomfortable with people watching your errand from their tents.

Our stay here was magic, the farmer is welcoming, engaging about his work and made it a fantastic experience. Being off the grid (water is plumbed in but no electricity) might seem daunting, but our young daughter, and us, had a really special time without modern conveniences. I can’t wait to stay again

Quiet but child-friendly campsite with good sanitary facilities and lots of greenery. Very reasonable prices and nicely situated in a wooded area next to the nice village of Hooghalen. Quite small scale but no mini camping, just exactly right.

As the comments below are very complete, I'd just like to point out that the daytime nuisance was far too great for my taste this year: music at 10am to wake up the whole campsite and almost daily lawnmowers and brushcutters at all hours of the day, especially in the morning. During the day, you're not allowed to rest, but in the evening, you're not allowed to laugh or the security guard will come. We're adults, and what's more, we're on vacation, so I don't need anyone deciding what time I get up and what time I go to bed!!! Surrounded by the Dutch: very high proportion of foreigners. The restaurant we tried out on arrival: we forgot our order! some of the menus were not available, the fries were almost non-existent, and there was no commercial gesture.|Fortunately, the campsite staff were very friendly and available, although the management was not always very friendly.
