Liked: Kids loved the swimming pool, especially the slide. Beautiful views of the lake. Disliked: No toilet seats, this really isn’t ideal for women or young children! We booked a table for the on-site restaurant and then were told all the outside tables were taken and had to sit and wait for a table to be free, which was very odd. Sometimes felt like you had to tread on eggshells a little with the owners. Weren’t able to have a key for entry when we checked in as there wasn’t any left but then when we went out for the day had to wait ages to be let in and felt as though we were being a nuisance.

Being on a bare pitch with tent, we appreciated the shade, but less so the nearby low court. The sanitary facilities are good and clean, but we were short of hot water. Overall, the campsite is old-fashioned and needs a major refurbishment. The swimming pool is slippery near the pools and the water is never really clean. It even turned green for 4 days. The ping-pong tables are in poor condition and the tennis courts are worn out. None of the equipment is really functional. No children's activities as indicated in the description. Very oversold!

Liked: Lovely site. The pitches are a great size and kept private with nice hedging around each one. Site felt very safe and is kept immaculately clean, including the toilet/ shower facilities. Lovely pool and bar area. Perfect location with short walk to the beach and Lidl supermarket 10 minutes drive away. Shower block always immaculate and never gets too busy (despite being peak time never had to queue). Cleaner works very hard and deserves recognition for doing such a good job

We have been coming to RØSTIG since 2021 and since we saw the panorama pod on insta this year we thought: we have to try it. Really a gift it was, we sat in the pod by the water so we could see the ducks swimming by. We also had much less "fomo" when we stayed chilling in the pod because it feels like you are outside. Otherwise fully equipped, so very nice

Super nice accommodation very cozy and cozy feeling. When you open the curtains it's like sleeping in nature. Fantastic!

What a nice time: in nature, beautiful people, nice workshops and sleeping in the panorama pod is really a must. You have a place to retreat to and it is a very funny experience to be able to look outside like that. it felt very luxurious and all in all a top experience

It's difficult to write this review, because while I can't be overly enthusiastic here, there's no way I'm going to be the wet blanket or the cold piss. From my point of view, where our stay fell short was essentially in the area of value for money, which for the week of 05/08/2023 to 12/08/2023 seemed a little weak. I feel that for the service we received, the price we paid was clearly too high, so high that we would have appreciated a cheaper laundry service, or a free TV ... This feeling can also be largely explained by the rather disappointing weather conditions. We're not blaming the campsite for the weather, which is obviously not our fault, but when the weather hasn't decided to be on our side, having access to two pools with water this cold is very disappointing considering the price we paid. We'll hear about the prohibitive cost of energy. I'm thinking of the prohibitive price of the stay. Having seen the children (aged 2 and 4 1/2) shivering and shivering, almost to the point of refusing to get into the water even though their desire to swim was obviously at its peak, I think there was reason to be a little disappointed with the service provided... I refuse to believe that the water was 29. The only certainty is that it was far too cold. But that's also why, on some occasions, we had the feeling that the pool was almost private, so deserted was it by the campers. I must admit, I didn't mind. Apart from this real problem of temperature, I have no further criticism to make. Otherwise, it seemed to me that all the services were in line with what we could expect. I loved the location with its direct access to the GR and the seaside. I loved the campsite's clientele and, in any case, our direct neighbors. Nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness and facilities. Correct bedding. All very convenient. It's just that we feel we've paid a high price. The same services at a lower price, even for this week in August, and I wouldn't have made these reservations. But in the end we had a great week, or at least a great week to see how happy our children were, despite the bloody cold water and the appalling weather (the lottery having also meant that our terrace was poorly exposed ... we have, no lie, hardly eaten on the terrace. Maybe 2 aperitifs and a quick meal, but that's about it).
