3rd year we've visited and the owners are constantly improving the facilities. Come on guys, and girls, we need to support independent sites or we'll lose them and this little gem deserves to be considered for long stays as well as stopovers. Situated in the "Lot" close to the A20 motorway its ideal for those heading to the Mediterranean coast and those straying from the busier Dordogne area. The local wine producers are rightly proud of their produce and the city of Cahors has a wonderful atmosphere and market. Come on everyone, try something away from the tourist hotspots and you won't be disappointed in the real France experience.

We spent a weekend in one of the small cottages with our dog. The cottage was like new, very clean and really equipped with everything you need. Lovely fenced garden, car parking directly in front. The campsite is very well looked after, everything is clean and controlled. The food in the restaurant was delicious and inexpensive. Very friendly waitress. The only downsides are that the café closes very early in the evening, and given that the campsite seems to have a lot of fixed tenants throughout the year, there wasn't much of an atmosphere. But maybe that's also because the sun wasn't out and so there weren't too many customers.

We planned a relaxing day at Lake Medo with a couple of friends. We had booked and paid for this beautiful campsite... However, when we arrived we were refused entry. The reason given was that we were too young to visit the campsite (we were on average 24 years old). I've never really experienced anything like it! Being refused entry despite having booked borders on breach of contract! When we were at reception for 10 seconds, we were told to leave immediately! Unfriendly and absolutely not recommended! They didn't even try to explain to us why we weren't allowed to enter the campsite. Apparently this is called age discrimination!

A total dump. Not even the local language is spoken here. Heating doesn't work, canopies are leaky. Beds are as hard as stone. Not recommended!

Although our short trip was booked, paid for and we agreed everything by phone. We were then very unfriendly and thrown out of the park for no reason by park staff (reception and gardener).

Despite prior booking and payment, entry to the campsite was refused. This happened for no reason. The lady at reception was extremely unfriendly. We suspect that this was done for racist reasons. Never go there again! Very disappointed.

Spent a very nice camping weekend. Beautiful and well-kept site, nice restaurant. Very much geared towards Dutch guests, but that doesn't matter.

We booked a vacation but were denied direct access to the campsite because we were young adults (23-24 years old). Anyone not traveling there as a family or pensioner is automatically discriminated against.

Super place. The sanitary building is very clean. Activities such as night hikes and GPS hikes are offered. WLAN is also available.
