Go there with your eyes closed, the staff and the setting are very good for a nature family vacation.

The atmosphere in the park, partly because of the many different location types mixed together makes it very cozy. And the homeliness/reception upon entering the reception/shop is nice. The hot tub at the cottage was delicious

Very quiet and beautiful campsite. Toilet block small, but was kept very clean. Location perfect on the water. Friendly people.

The new owners have added nice toilet facilities although a bit over security conscious. The big issue that gets little mention is the noise from the factory across the road which carries on throughout the night. Very poor sleep followed headache. Cannot recommend it.

Such an amazing campsite. Friendly, helpful. Clean, comfortable, lovely pool, selection of games, nice place for drinks. Would definitely stay again!

It is a nice campsite in a quiet environment. The sanitary blocks are clean, the only thing I didn't like was that sometimes during peak times the sanitary blocks were cleaned and the showers were full, but you are on vacation and can come back later to shower. What I also didn't find so great in the sanitary block was that there were no signs or motifs for the children's sanitary area in the middle, as there are signs for the men's and women's areas. We were there until Pentecost Saturday, when it was still very quiet, but from Friday afternoon it would get fuller and of course louder, in the high season it will certainly also be very full, we will then prefer to come back in the low season. The small town of Callantsoog is about a 30 minute walk away where there is a supermarket, stores and restaurants (very tasty fries) at the entrance to the beach.

Beautiful campsite

Saturday, May 25, we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Riverside. We look back on a great party. The organization, the hospitality, the delicious food and drinks, it was all top notch! Everyone enjoyed themselves. The afternoon sunshine and the beautiful place gave an extra dimension to our party. All our guests, even those from the Land of Maas and Waal, were surprised by the beautiful, special location. Riverside comes highly recommended. In any case, we would love to come back again.

You can deduce a lot from the reviews. The park is new and the houses are in good condition. In the "Duinlodge" houses, however, it is extremely loud on the upper floor when it is windy, as the roof rattles a lot. There is also a lack of storage space and cupboards. The park is a bit out of the way. It takes a good 20 minutes to walk to the shops/bakeries. The beach is 10 to 15 minutes away. Unfortunately there is also no playground, the reception was not manned the whole time. However, if you had any questions/comments, you were helped quickly by email or phone. This was also quickly remedied when we complained about dirty bed linen and the inadequately cleaned house on arrival. What seems to have been completely forgotten is a drainage system. A little heavier rain and the paths to the houses are under water or large puddles have formed which are impassable for small children. The water hardly drains away from the lawns either. We will keep an eye on what happens in the park over the next few months. If a playground is added here and something is done to the outdoor facilities, we could imagine booking here again.

The short yellow route is closed. Unfortunately no information at the entrance. Once you have paid the €3, you are faced with the closure. You only have the long route or the way back. The money is gone...

Very nice houses and a very well-kept resort. Too bad that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant.
