In a nice village lies this beautiful campground. Atmospheric, cozy and full during this busy period. Well arranged, easy to get to and an above average camping experience. Renewed sanitary building and an (electric) bicycle shed available. Just quiet, away from all the hustle and bustle? Then this is the right place!

Family campsite in the countryside with a beautiful heated swimming pool and close to beautiful walks.

What an amazing campsite!! We only stayed here for one night and although the weather was awful our hosts were so accommodating. All the facilities were clean and in working order. The grounds are all kept immaculately and although due to the bad weather the pool looks amazing. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. I would highly recommended if you’re ever in the area.

Recently rented a safari tent (the medley) with 5 people. The kids loved it, their own play area including slide inside the tent. We as parents missed a few things. The nights were still quite cold, something like an (electric) heater would be nice. There is no microwave/oven. The smaller tents have a picnic table for eating outside. The medley tents do not have that so you can not eat outside, only with plate on lap on the couch. Park is very neat, many private/rental cottages. Net pool (you) nice restaurant. And on the edge of the forest. All in all had a nice and beautiful vacation.

In 1/2 season the place is very seldom visited and it's superb.

Beautiful camping with many activities for the children. There are also plenty of playground equipment throughout the campground. The plumbing is very well maintained only a little dated.

What a special and fine experience this campground was. Wonderfully casual, helpful and relaxed atmosphere. At Ascension, the campground was busy with families who have been coming there for years and many children. For us as seniors not the most logical choice. The beauty of this company is that there is something for everyone, but the atmosphere is very good and despite the crowds is quiet and friendly. For horse lovers it is also nice. Riding lessons or helping out can all be done. Tjeukemeer within walking distance; all top. The Family Eefting is ready for you time and are cordial nice people. Thanks!

A campsite to discover, the key words are vintage and USA Style, and we loved it! Great welcome (upgraded because the tent wasn't available due to bad weather), calm, good bedding, games for the kids. The owner's burgers are just perfect, and the restaurant has a great US atmosphere. In short, An Amazing Place!
