A nice location and a great private grass beach at the lake. When it's busy they try to fill every nook and cranny of the campsite. We had a very small pitch (it was the space between two pitches actually) but we still got charged almost 130,- for two nights.

We found Camping La Plage to be a nice campground on the Ceze River. The campground is elongated along the Ceze. You can go into the water at several places. The Ceze has shallow and deep sections so it is suitable for the little ones and also for swimming. The dog is also allowed in. You can also go supping or canoeing. You are very kindly received by Phillipe. He speaks good English. We could pick a spot from the still available spots. We had not booked. Reasonably large sites with lots of shade. We ate 2x in the restaurant and we liked it. On Friday evening there is live music. The sanitary facilities are above the restaurant at the beginning of the campsite. We found it sufficient. The number of toilets and showers is enough except around cleaning time and that was often between 8 and 9 in the morning. It is outdated and the spaces are cramped, but very clean. Water temperature was not adjustable...first days fine, then 2 days cold and then very (and too) hot. Therefore 4 instead of 5 stars. At 23.00 it is quiet. In the area many quaint villages and markets and near the Ardeche for a canoe trip ... but then back to the quiet. The Gard around the Ceze is also always nice weather. Great during the day and in the evening it cools down so you can sleep well.

Great campsite for families. Plenty to do for children. Fine and sufficient sanitary facilities. Nice indoor pool. Doubt about the accuracy of the electricity meter. Wifi is poor. Children liked it there.

Perfect welcome, the kids had a blast during our week in the tent. Great walks all around the campsite. See you soon
