We were looking for a campsite for one night. It was a shame to put us on the side of the road when the campsite was not full. The campsite is shady and clean.

We'd been dreaming of a Huttopia holiday for a while and I have to say we were very disappointed.... I had promised the children nature activities such as a tree house and the discovery of flora and fauna.... Instead we took part in a treasure hunt that lasted 1 hour out of the 2 announced, an afternoon of sports activities that didn't last long either, and for which the games planned were really simplistic...(kapla tower...not really sporting in my opinion) despite the good will of the activity leaders. Fortunately, we took part in a fishing activity with an outside company, which was great. We were in a chalet escape, stuck to our neighbors, but I'm not complaining too much when I see how people in tents are crammed together. The pool, which could be nice because it's unsupervised, is overcrowded (I spoke to several people who were enjoying it even though they weren't from the campsite), and not very well maintained... The snack bar is nice, In short, we were looking for calm and serenity, but this week has been stressful and noisy! We paid enough to stay, but we won't be coming back!

Very nice and lovingly run campsite. Very child-friendly! Lots of pitches right by the river! The only drawback is the steep and narrow access road. It's a bit tight for large caravans and motorhomes, but it works.

New owners and very clean and nicely made, definitely going back!!!

Fun getaway in a beautiful, quiet setting EuroParcs Buitenhuizen is a great spot if you're looking to escape the crowds and enjoy nature. The park is tucked away in a lush, peaceful area—perfect for walks, bike rides, or just relaxing. The grounds are well-kept, and the vibe is laid-back and family-friendly. Our unit was clean and cozy, though be aware: there's no air conditioning in most units, except for the connecting rooms. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for us, but something to note if you're visiting during warmer months. Overall, a lovely place to unplug and recharge. Would definitely come back for the scenery and the off-the-beaten-path charm.

Nice and beautiful Park, just a pity that dogs were let out on the pitches resulting in dog poop and pee everywhere on the pitches. Also, the sanitary building is far away from the pitches, so if you need to go to the toilet, it is quite a long walk. Otherwise a top location, lots of greenery and large sites.

Scandalous !!!! After booking a caravan site and a canvas bungalow for 5 days for a total of over 600e.... the campsite manager won't let us stay from 12pm to 1pm in the parking lot outside the campsite to feed the children (5 children) before leaving, as we have a folding caravan and the space is reserved for camping cars. She asks us to go and park our caravan at the Elsau municipal parking lot 🤣🤣🤣🤣 As I'm alone with my 65-year-old mother and 5 children, I explain to her that it will be complicated for me to manoeuvre the caravan in such a car park.... Le must du must.....At least 10 camping car spaces are empty at 12pm on the outside parking lot, I tell her that for 1 hour (maximum time for our meal) if 10 camping cars arrive (this campsite wants to make a profit, by the way: they even rent out these parking spaces near the train tracks without electricity at an abusive price when the campsite is full....) I'm ready to leave immediately so as not to penalize the campsite as I'm taking a profitable space... The manager refuses, I get angry and leave the campsite, respecting the 12 o'clock rule. That's the rule and no adaptation is possible ...... But intelligence isn't about adapting the rule to the circumstances, otherwise AI will soon be able to replace us! It's distressing, sad,.... What an image for my children! We wanted to be honest, we asked nicely at the start and no arrangements were proposed, apart from going with the caravan to the Elsau municipal parking lot 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's forbidden for caravans, ask around! It's a good thing I didn't go. ... It's the first time I've had this kind of reaction !!!! What's more, the prices are relatively high (close to Strasbourg of course, but equivalent to the south of France I've just come back from) and it would have cost us the same to take a bnb....c'est pas la même ambiance mais vu l'amabilité de la responsable.......on aura vite choisi pour l'année prochaine et habitant la région je ne ferai pas de bonne publicité......c'est dommage !!!! perfect for a stopover but not for long stays Here's my answer: For your information, the recommended Elsau parking lot is closed to caravans !!! Please check before !!!! For less than an hour (because we usually eat in 30, especially a picnic) you're sending me elsewhere (even though I wasn't bothering anyone). My husband is a fireman who does safety inspections, so he can write a report to explain how things work and that I wasn't in any way interfering with the evacuation. Stop looking for bad arguments to ease your conscience and apologize, it would be the least you could do.....you're neither understanding nor accommodating towards your customers......for max 1h......it's a shame and sad but you don't represent the values of the campsite. Mutual aid, solidarity and kindness !!!! Your beloved Elsau parking lot wouldn't have accepted me. This is a sketch.....une mauvaise blague....j'hallucine.....assume your words and deeds.....if need be I send the screenshot that caravans are forbidden on this parking lot!

How do you do? The campsite is good. Food and drinks are very expensive, but where else is it cheap? Very frightening is the NICH HUNDESTRAND actually everywhere the dogs run around every tree, garbage can, bicycle stand, wall, stone etc. etc. The next vacation guest then makes himself comfortable with his blanket on the meadow and has to endure the smells of the poo.... This was our 3rd time here and our last. Best regards
