It was our first time here at the campsite. We paid 1,100 euros for our pitch for 1 week and I have to say I expected more for the money. You have to pay 15 euros for the sun loungers by the pool, money is taken for bouncy castles, the tennis courts etc. A cocktail costs almost 13 euros and a scoop of ice cream 2.50 euros. Many of the fittings in the showers are broken. The staff, especially on the beach, are relatively unfriendly. All in all, the price-performance ratio is not right at all - we won't be back.

Staying at Le Séquoia campsite... an unforgettable experience, but surely not for the right reasons. Negatives: - Our mobile home? A dream location: the terrace with a direct view of... the wall of the owner's house, on his kitchen window. To complete the picture, at the back, the city-stadium, and the nice little noise of the busy secondary road. - As soon as we arrived, the fridge burst in the middle of the heat wave. Three trips to reception later, we're given a ghetto fridge, straight out of the garbage bin, with missing brackets and mouldy seals. And when we complain, the manager (who hadn't even introduced himself) calmly says: "The tenants before us didn't complain...". Well, it must be our fault that his fridge is giving up the ghost. No apologies, no compassion... - Next, it's the hot water that decides to take a vacation. How convenient! - Entertainment? The bare minimum. The team is so small that one wonders if it isn't on the verge of extinction. - As for the stage, it's set 4 meters from the communal toilets. A unique "stuck between two toilets" atmosphere. On the plus side (because there are some): - Sven, the host, was adorable and full of energy. It's a good thing he was there. - The location is great for sightseeing. - The forest is beautiful and perfectly maintained. - The children's area is great, and there's plenty of sports equipment. - Cleaning of the mobile home was perfect, well done to the cleaning teams. - A shared composter and a willingness to go green. - The lagoon was superb... even if, like some of the mobile homes, it overlooked the cemetery. A little poetic touch, shall we say. - No grocery store, which means the village shopkeepers down the road can work. In short: a setting with potential, but not great value for money.

Great camping next to the sea. The restaurants (oliva grill) serves good quality food as well.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed this time. The house was not ready on time (should have been ready at 3pm, could get in at 5pm) The floor was totally dirty, the spare bedding was moldy. Very crowded, hardly any space on the beach. The toilet on the beach costs 50 cents, is not clean (raised on wooden blocks, dirty and smelly). Unfortunately a total clean case.

Stay booked with a Wonderbox. Very good welcome, pleasant and smiling staff. The pool and washrooms are very clean. The snack bar offers simple but effective food (we loved the Norman burger and the Cheese burger yum). We will return with pleasure if we come back to the area.

Perfect family vacation, slides for everyone and great entertainment for the kids and not so little ones, 100% recommendable.

In the summer vacations (August) we stayed at Zonneweelde campsite for a week. We really enjoyed our stay. The campsite is nicely set up. We were on a field with 10 spots, close to a toilet building. The spots were spacious enough and equipped with water/electricity/drainage. You had to park the car somewhere else, which gave a lot of peace and quiet on the field. The plumbing was very clean, despite the campground being completely full. Too bad you don't get a signal (for example) after 6 minutes, when the 7 minutes shower time is almost up; therefore you are not relaxed under the shower. There was also a separate area for children, which was a plus for us. The temperature of the pool was a real letdown. Our 1.5 year old son lasted about 10 minutes in the water playground, after that it was too cold for him. This is a pity, because it is a really nice pool for children. The camp store has good sandwiches, though they are pricey. The (takeaway) pizzas were also very good. The location is about 1 km from the beach, making it a perfect base for a beach vacation. The surroundings are nice for cycling. We went to Cadzand-bad, the weekly market in Oostbrug and the locks in Terneuzen.

We are here for 4 days on our way to Croatia. Our mobile home (booked through Eurocamp) is a bit outdated, but has a great layout and the equipment is completely in order and sufficient. Large fridge, microwave, stove and plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots,... The cleanliness depends on who cleaned ;) In June, during our first stay, everything was clean. This time we were not quite as satisfied. The Eurocamp supervisors are super nice and helpful. A big, extra-fat praise to Tobi and Carla (both speak German). There is a large and very varied playground with a nice mud corner, a few animals - the enclosure is open 1 hour a day. You can also pet and feed the animals from outside. Our kids also enjoyed playing on the soccer pitch. The pools are super nice, clean and there is plenty of grass, sun loungers and parasols. The water is very fresh. But that didn't bother the kids so much. Unfortunately, the entertainment is subterraneanly bad!!! A few inflated animals were provided for the pool games. During "fun and games" the lady provided a box with balls, frisbee and cones. We played with our kids while the lady sat on her mat, played on her cell phone and let the sun shine on her face. During the "creative and play time", she sat there reading the newspaper and playing on her laptop. The kids were not animated or harmed at all! What a shame!!! The pizza in the restaurant is really disgusting and we wouldn't order it again. Apart from the bad animation and the not so tasty pizza, we had a very nice time here for the second time. The surrounding area is also beautiful and there are lots of things to do.

Overall we had a wonderful time - the mobile homes are convenient, the pools are great fun and the sea is beautiful. The service, however, is bad to the point that it's sometimes funny (when you try ordering coffee or pizza and get an angry look as a reply), but sometimes extremely frustrating (when it take 48 shours and multiple requests to fill gas in an AC when it's 30 degrees outside)
