Toller Campingplatz 👍

We had a wonderful vacation! Beautiful small-scale glamping right on Lake Garda. We were surprised by the cozy avenues and also the veranda was beautifully overgrown with olive trees giving you plenty of privacy. In just a few steps to the pool. 4 stars instead of 5 because there are still some points of attention. We arrived at 19:30 in the evening. At 20:00 reserved in the restaurant. Once there, we were really unkindly treated by an Italian lady. Everything was impossible. There we were... Fortunately, Naomi immediately handled this excellently. She reassured us, took us to the cottage and half an hour later we could still go to the restaurant. Compliments also for the rest of the animation team. Always enthusiastic and nothing was too much. The restaurant is also fine and the service very good. Another point of attention; one toilet roll on arrival for an accommodation with 2 toilets is a bit shabby. We also expected a towel and tea towel. The shower was variable cold/hot but we took this for granted. In short; we had a wonderful vacation and would definitely come back again.

Wonderfully relaxing

What a fantastic family campsite, you guys do everything you can to make the guests feel comfortable with all kinds of facilities and activities. Despite the lousy weather we had great weeks at the campsite.

We had booked a luxury lodge tent. Glamping tent kitchen with dishwasher and private toilet and shower. Everything was on even fly swatter, plenty of hooks and storage space. Superdeluxe tent. Breakfast service briidhes were baked by the owner himself. You do hear the highway raging when you go to sleep. Many cycling routes, lots of info of surroundings in the tent. Enter at fuers distance voir any shopping or eating out. Too bad we had regular rain, otherwise super location👍

Despite torrid weather, we (3 adults, 4 kids) had an amazing time at East Shilvinghampton. The tent was large, pretty well appointed, and cosy even in driving rain and high winds. The beds were comfy, and the kids absolutely loved the cupboard bed! The bathroom was clean, and the hot shower in the tent was amazing. In terms of cooking, the BBQ was great, but much else I'd recommend taking gas burners (you can borrow one from the shop free though, sans gas) as the wood stove takes a good couple of hours to boil a large kettle; a free crate of wood a day was plenty, and very welcome given the £5 each many places charge! The coolbox worked pretty well with the provided ice blocks, and each tent was allocated a shelf in the fridges in the shop. The shop itself had a good range of staples, including fresh milk and eggs, pasta etc., and a good amount of ice cream and frozen meat products; bacon, burgers, venison sausages etc. which, whilst not cheap, certainly weren't a rip-off and tasted fantastic. You can also charge phones etc. there for free, but there are limited plug sockets. Supermarkets are only 15 mins away in Weymouth, as are plenty of eateries and takeaways if you don't fancy cooking, and the weekly pizza oven night is always an option (although you may be waiting a while to get cooking depending on how many others are doing the same). What really made the trip though was the kids from all the tents playing in the field and having fun. They were never bored, whether playing football, or petting the goats, and this made the whole holiday so much better. There was no enforced socialising for the adults, but once someone lights the campfire of an evening, a few families would always be found sitting around it toasting marshmallows and drinking a beer. Overall we had an amazing time, the kids were sobbing as we left having to leave their new friends, my wife and I miss the beautiful views from the porch, and we are already talking about going back!

We were delighted with our stay, the friendliness of the owners, the peacefulness of the place, the location which allows us to do lots of activities in the area. What's more, the campsite is dog-friendly (thank you!).

-Lounge bath in bedroom -natural environment -tranquility and atmosphere -we were able to book the cottage with summer discount!!!

Despite the bad weather enjoyed the campground and surroundings. The sanitary facilities are outdated but clean. However, 1 remark and that was the settlement at departure where only cash payment was possible. Dutch people could pay with the app and maybe also Germans but people from other countries within the European Union could only pay in cash. Too bad the European legislation is not followed because discrimination depending on country within the European Union is not allowed. With modern means this should be treated the same for every resident within the European Union

Super cozy park with a homecoming feeling from the moment you arrive. definitely recommended!

Very nice cottage was a wellness lodge. Lovely relaxing despite the barren weather. Also delicious food in the guest house with good and friendly staff.
