Very pleasant campsite. Sanitary facilities and pool spotlessly clean.

Very nice well-kept campsite, large well-kept lawns, very large pitches. Showers are equipped with washbasin and toilet, always warm water, very pleasant. Children can also play here. You can order good bread rolls at reception. We liked it here.

We were on a camping pitch. Nice view,pleasant to walk. The park itself is neat but there are many stones on the pitches. The store is not much. The town is remote. We arrived on Monday, they came to clean the plumbing on Wednesday because I had already told them twice that the plumbing was dirty. The hygiene could be better. Just mention Thursday they came twice to clean and Friday morning also. Friendly staff at the reception.

Lovely site close to Angers which is easily accessible. Clean and new facilities. Helpful staff. Nice place to stop off. (June 2019) Just revisited this site which I previously gave a very good rating. Rather run down and dirty. Shower facilities dirty and toilets smell bad. Can't believe it's the same place save for it being a good location near to Angers. (August 2025)

A very nice campground right by the sea. Of all amenities. Very large though, we rented scooters for our boys 17 and 19, so they could get around easier.

Nice quiet campsite. Unfortunately the sanitary facilities are very outdated and partly broken. The children's entertainment is only in English, which is not great for small children.

The place remains simply beautiful! Unfortunately you can't book the weather otherwise it would be perfect!

We had booked a total of 14 nights at the Lanterna (pitch with whirlpool) and had both positive and negative experiences: Check In: The parking situation on arrival is unfortunately really bad. Especially at peak times, you don't know where to go with a trailer. However, the staff here are very nice and helpful. Pitch: Unfortunately, it was a total washout for us. We had specified when booking that we were bringing a 2.5m x 7.5m caravan. Our pitch was tiny. The fact that the whirlpool also took up space meant that we could only erect our awning in a squeezed position. The other 4 pitches were much bigger and some were only occupied by a van. The planning here was definitely stupid. The pitch was also gravel and it was virtually impossible to get a peg into the ground. But there was a sea block from the pitch. The whirlpool was great and was cleaned daily, water levels were drawn and chlorinated. Sea and pools: The Adriatic is great, typically Croatian rocky - don't forget your bathing shoes! The pools (salt water) are unheated and were too cold for us! But what bothered us most were the many people who jumped from the edge of the pool without looking. Incidentally, there was no lifeguard here. We only visited the aqua park (fresh water) once. It was completely overcrowded, the individual pools are tiny, freezing cold and have the feel of a sardine can. Sanitary facilities: Despite almost round-the-clock cleaning, the cleanliness of the ladies' facilities at our sanitary block was rather poor, with lots of mold in the showers. However, my husband raved about the very clean showers in the men's facilities, so perhaps this will improve. Showers are a bit scarce at peak times, but there were never any waiting times if you went to shower after 8pm. Stores and restaurants: The supermarkets are well stocked and have reasonable prices. All other facilities on the plaza have such stupid opening hours (short in the morning, short in the evening) that we hardly used them. The staff everywhere were bored and disinterested. Bread rolls are available on the plaza until midday. However, cheekily expensive. On the plaza, a tiny, soggy Kaiser roll costs €1.45, at the outposts it's still €0.60. The Oliva Grill is outstanding with top food and great staff! Valfresco and the restaurant at the reception are okay, but you don't have to have them twice. We didn't try the others. In general, the site is incredibly confusing and therefore seems much larger than comparable sites. The footpaths are annoying and sometimes very steep, even on central pitches! The operators urgently need to do something about the recklessness of e-scooters and car drivers. They speed across the site at far more than the permitted 20 km/h. This is a huge potential for accidents. There is a huge potential for accidents here. Overall, we had the feeling that most campers here are very selfish and that consideration and cooperation are foreign words here. The pricing policy (Magnum ice cream for €6.50, trampoline, Wibit, etc. all cost extra) does the rest. Even the range of sports and entertainment options (which are really good) doesn't help if you don't feel comfortable because of all the little things. The Lanterna is not our pitch and we have heard this opinion from many people (electricity is so far away at many pitches, for example, that 10m of cable was not enough). Others swear by it. That's where opinions really differ. Based on our experience, we left 2 days earlier. To be fair, it should be noted that the 2 days were not included in the price, which was a very positive thing for us. However, for the cost, you can get far better places for our needs.

It's nice. Quiet. Accommodation is good. Bikes to use. Shop is too small for the site.

We had high hopes from the pictures and the location - unfortunately the vacation was anything but relaxing. With two small children and a dog, the stay was a disaster: Strangers' dogs ran unhindered into our accommodation because there is no fenced property. Sockets are unsecured, the terrace is raised and dangerous for small children. High chair? Not available. Travel cot? Yes, but without a mattress. We ended up having to sleep with baby and toddler on mattresses in the living room - nothing to do with a vacation. The park itself offers hardly anything: the tiny supermarket opens late, bread rolls only if ordered the day before, otherwise bad luck. The indoor playground has far too short opening hours, no children's entertainment, nothing to do in bad weather. Everything seems deserted, snacks are only available two days a week. There was also an extreme infestation of spiders and mosquitoes - we've never experienced anything like it. The accommodation heats up extremely, but we didn't air it out at all. Conclusion: Visually beautiful, but absolutely not suitable for families or dogs. We were more annoyed than relaxed and won't be back.
