A campsite with large plots, a Zen atmosphere, garlands of light on almost every canvas, a very nice baroque sanitary decor and, above all, cleanliness - to be recommended.

In a nutshell : it was a fantastic experience! |The location and its surroundings are magnificent. We often travel to the Provence but here you can find as many lovely villages, beautiful sights and greenery (and great places to dine).|The tent is also beautiful, very well decorated, great beds with a lovely breeze when you wake up in the morning. The view and seating areas on the balcony mades us wandering back to our safari in Africa. |We stayed 5 nights with our 3 kids in the Samburu tent with a private toilet and shower. It has probably the best view of all tents, a lot of privacy but still close enough to the wonderful natural pool where we spend a good amount of our time.||A big thanks to Claire and Nigel, they are so welcoming, so relax but also full of energy.|I absolutely recommend this stay!

Totally loved Mount Pleasant farm as a getaway with our family and some friends. The location is beautiful, a calm, serene place with lovely views. This was our first time doing a rustic glam ping experience and I was a little worried as we had a 11 week old baby but it didn’t disappoint. The size of the cabins are great, the hot water shower is a perfect luxury and the beds were ever so comfortable! Our 3 year old son absolutely loved it and it was so amazing to be able to let him run around and jump on the hay barrels, visit the farm yard and be able to run free. The honesty shop is an excellent essential for anything you may have forgotten. The wood fire in the evening makes the cabin so cozy and the BBQ’s are brilliant. I would recommend hiring a camping stove or bringing your own to help speed up any cooking as the stove can take sometime. I would definitely do the farm tour as it’s so insightful to hear and see the workings of a true farm. Definitely do the pizzas as they were delicious and a brilliant activity for kids. Farmer Mike and Anna were so helpful and I would totally recommend Mount Pleasant farm. We will definitely come back again!

We stayed for 7 nights and had a fantastic chilled out holiday, great farm experience. The hosts Richard and Wendy were really friendly and accommodating, not what I expected from the usual grumpy farmers I know! Richard’s farm tour was fun and really educational, very interesting to listen to him talking about the history of the farm and the farming practices he employs. As I was travelling as a solo adult with kids, I enjoyed the time Richard spent chatting over a glass of the farms pear cider! Our tent had everything we needed and we used the honesty shop every day. ||The kids (11 & 3) loved it, playing in the woods on the rope swing and tractor, seeing the farm animals and helping feed them, riding in the trailer on the farm tour, the swimming pool, the barn full of kids ride on trikes and toys and just chilling out and playing bat and ball on the field. ||The location has a great mix of feeling like you are in the middle of no where but actually being on the edge of a city.||We were lucky to have sunshine for 6 of our 7 days and the West facing position of the tent made for some amazing sunsets.||I am just looking to book to return next year!||||I would recommend taking bikes with you, there are a few Bridleway around to check out the countryside and the farm is a short distance up the track from the tents, a few families took bikes and seemed to benefit from that.

Small-scale glamping in the middle of nature - close to Slovenia. There is also a hotel attached, with restaurant (didn't use it - bit limited menu), toilet block and swimming pool (which can be covered). The tent is well equipped and spacious, but was very hot upon arrival (it was 35 degrees outside) and there is no air conditioning or fan. We purchased those ourselves. Fortunately, it got cooler the following days, so it was more manageable (especially at night). There is an outdoor kitchen, which is nice and a nice porch and spacious patio with lounge sofa and hammock. That was lovely. There is a soccer field and also the pool is nice for young people. In the evening it is also open (closed roof). There are families with older children (12+) and there are many Dutch, which was nice for the children - you quickly make contact.|You are a bit far away from everything. For a small bakery/supermarket it is about a 10-minute drive (for example, to get breakfast). For larger groceries you have to go to Karlovac. There is also a nice swimming facility by the river - fine for a day. Zagreb is about an hour's drive away and worth a visit. Also Plitvice lakes (an hour and a half) or rafting on the Mreznica can be done from this location.

i had lost my credit card and was not allowed into the accommodation. i had to sleep in the car with the children and could only check in on the 3rd day. the staff only said sorry, not my problem. the motel room also left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. there were thousands of cobwebs under the bed and behind the radiator......||so the location and the park itself is quite nice but we will definitely not come back and will not recommend it to others!
