Super location, beautifully restored

OK so let’s put the record straight and stop this character assassination of poor Precilia. I write this during our stay which we booked through the Caravan & Motorhome Club. The site is delightful. It is clean, well laid out with spacious pitches separated by shrubs. The pool area is amazing with plenty of thought given to children, bouncy castles, trampolines etc and if wet, table tennis, pool, games machines oh yes and a huge crazy golf plus a cycle track. There is a bar, restaurant indeed it ticks every box. For me the only negative is that I don’t like joint showers/toilets and there could be more of them. The site is very quiet now and in high season I think there could be queues. The staff without exception are excellent, warm friendly and helpful. Some of the clients, British of course are stupid. We encountered a party of not youngsters but in their 60s who were loud and coarse and took exception to being told that glasses were not allowed in the pool area nor is diving into a 5 foot deep pool. I am sure these are the sort of people who would take to Trip Advisor damning the manager. I asked a staff member about these anti Precilia postings. She said “ people can be so unfair, we have had a long tiring season and like most places difficulty getting enough staff. Precilia is an excellent manager and cares about the guests and the staff.”|From what I can see she does and if she takes to task stupid selfish people who put others at risk and spoil their enjoyment, good for her.|It’s a lovely spot and I’m glad we found it.

Surrounded by nature, tranquility, fine vibe, delicious meals and friendly people, I enjoyed myself.

Beautiful bungalow with dock to moor sloop; we had a sloop at the bungalow for 3 days.

Nice wellness cottage with a hot tub. Beautiful surroundings And we had a delicious meal there.

What a great experience, a week staying at a Haven lodge with roof terrace! Super enjoyed the surroundings and especially in, on and around the water there is a lot to do! The roof terrace is really super nice and the weather was really with us! For water lovers really a must!

A unique experience in a beautiful natural environment, where you can make beautiful walks with the donkeys. A warm welcome and very child friendly. You can feast on delicious bread and delicious homemade pizza in the pizza oven. A weekend of enjoyment!

We spent a week here and it was really super! We were on the inner ring, so our little son could play in the playground from our tent without losing sight of him! The farm itself and all the activities are super fun. All ages can do well here.

Stay was great. Would love to visit the farm again. Next time longer than just a weekend. 😉
