Unpretentious 2-star campsite. Great location, bathrooms dated but perfectly clean. Very attractive price.

EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel - Cottage 120 The park is neat, quiet and orderly and we were helped quickly and kindly at the reception. The chalet looked nice on the outside and inside at first glance, but on closer inspection was disappointing. The cleaning was poor, fridge and freezer were dirty. The beds were pretty good, but the pillows were poor. There were also defects: a broken lamp in the bedroom with the light hanging out of the socket (dangerous) and a socket at the table that did not work. In addition, the chalet was noisy inside and heated quickly. The space in the chalet was otherwise fine for 4 people, but the shower was very cramped due to the sliding doors and the extractor worked poorly. Also missing were mirrors (no large fitting mirror), a hairdryer, a rack to store shower gear and a stool for children. Practical tip: bring a fan, your own pillow and a hair dryer for extra comfort. Facilities at the park are minimal. The indoor arcade is greatly outdated and the pool is small, cold and has too few seating areas. However, there were several outdoor playgrounds where the children had a good time. In terms of food, plenty of choice and friendly staff, but the quality was disappointing (even a croquette was cold) and the price is high. The surroundings make up for a lot: beautiful nature, the Efteling and the Chocolate Factory are nearby and provide fun outings. Parking was possible close to the cottage and that was fine. The wifi worked well, although it became noticeably slower with multiple devices at once. We had booked through bungalowspecials and thus did not pay the full EuroParcs price, but even with a discount we found the price-quality disappointing. For this money we had expected more maintenance inside, more comfort and some more luxurious amenities. In short: a nice small park for families with young children, but less suitable for adolescents or those expecting luxury. We were entertained by the excursions in the area, but because the dots are not on the i, a double feeling remains. Too bad, because with some improvements this stay would certainly have received 5 stars. Hopefully EuroParcs themselves are watching and doing something with this feedback.

Nice lakeside pitches, although a little small. Sanitary facilities are clean and in good condition. Pleasant swimming pool. Having booked a pitch at the last minute on the internet, I was surprised to pay €10 more than the price shown on the price list (normal according to the management, who fluctuate prices according to supply and demand). I will be more vigilant in future before booking.

Beautiful new park in the middle of the woods. The cottages are very nice, neat and well furnished. Fully equipped. Positives: spacious, lovely private (cottage D12), stylishly decorated, fine furniture both inside and outside, peaceful and quiet Points of attention: Jacuzzi was on 1st day broken and 2nd day dirty (well solved by the reception 👌🏻), rooms remain there light because a part is not to close off with curtains. Also, the cottage is good to use with a baby of 3mnd! Only gravel path a bit awkward with the car.
