Recreatiepark De Achterste HoefTogether with my partner I visited the Achterste Hoef. This on the recommendation of friends who go here with some regularity.
We ourselves are absolutely no camping people, but this time we were looking for a place close to home for personal reasons. And to be quite honest, after our week's vacation, our opinion of a camping vacation in our own country has completely changed.
What was this great and different than expected. We received a very warm welcome, everything felt very personal. The accommodation we rented was really spacious and very clean. The rest of the campground was clean, there was plenty of entertainment and we really had such a great time.
Many thanks to all employees of the Achterste Hoef for this great experience. When the time comes again, possibly with small children, we will definitely come back! In de periode september 2025 ben ik samen met mijn partner op bezoek geweest bij de Achterste Hoef. Dit op aanraden van vrienden welke hier met enige regelmaat naartoe gaan.
Wij zijn zelf absoluut geen mensen voor de camping, maar zochten ditmaal een plek dichtbij huis vanwege persoonlijke redenen. En om heel eerlijk te zijn, na ons weekje vakantie is heel onze mening gedraaid over een campingvakantie in eigen land.
Wat was dit onwijs leuk en anders dan verwacht. Wij werden bij inkomst super warm ontvangen, alles voelde erg persoonlijk. De accommodatie welke we hadden gehuurd was echt ruim en hartstikke schoon. De camping verder was schoon, er was voldoende vertier en we hebben het echt zó ontzettend goed naar onze zin gehad.
Hartelijk dank aan alle medewerkers van de Achterste Hoef voor deze leuke ervaring. Wanneer het weer zo uitkomt, eventueel met kleine kinderen, komen we zeker terug! En wij raden het onze andere ‘’hotelganger vrienden’’ ook zeker aan om eens bij jullie te ontspannen. Bedankt voor de heerlijke week!Bladel in North-Brabant

Les Cabanes d'OstendeWe had a super time with our 3 year old son. The bakfiets is the max, every day in the hot tub and in the evening quality time in the sauna with the 2 of us. Highly recommended, even if it rained the whole time! Very nice experience.

Camping Le PérigordWe stayed for a weekend in a cabin with jacuzzi.
Despite the weather conditions, the young employee went out of her way to make sure we had a great time. The cabin is very pleasant and, being able to completely close off the terrace, we had the feeling of being alone in the world!

Nous avons séjourné le temps d'un week-end au sein d'une cabane avec jacuzzi.
Malgré les conditions climatiques, la jeune employée s'est démenée pour que nous passions un agréable moment. La cabane est hyper agréable et, pouvant complètement fermer la terrasse, nous avons eu le sentiment d'être seuls au monde !

Schneiderhütte
The cottage is quite an experience. Cozy and nice but what a climb up with both car and still piece of walking. Difficult to get to the top with the car s. Also, the cleaning was very poor and especially when we had to pay so much for it. Cobwebs everywhere and lots of dust. Not nice and especially if you have people with allergies.

Het huisje is een hele ervaring. Knus en fijn maar wat een klim naar boven met zowel auto als nog stuk lopend. Moeite om met de auto s boven te komen. Ook was de schoonmaak erg slecht en zeker als we er zoveel voor hebben moeten betalen. Overal spinnewebben en veel stof. Niet fijn en zeker niet als je mensen met allergieën hebt.
