TAIGA Almeria Playa

We were very happy with this experience—everything was perfect. The room was a 10/10, everything was super clean, and the service was great, too. We’ll definitely be back!!

I’ve been camping for over 20+year first of all the staff and people that works. There is very very rude There is a constant smell of storage out the camping It’s like a zoo is the only way, I’m gonna describe it if you can try to avoid this camping

Two families with children went to this campground and stayed on two sites, and the experience was a total mess. There were so many flies—more than you could count—that while we were setting up the tent, we were on the verge of leaving. It was one of those crazy situations that’s just unbearable. I called the front desk, and they did set up a trap for us right away, but it wasn’t enough—there were so many flies that the trap was practically a toy to them. Then, due to a mix-up by the maintenance guy, he took our fridge (a small one we’d rented for €10) full of food and ice cream, the staff couldn’t offer a solution—it was the weekend, and according to them, it wasn’t a life-or-death situation—until the campground manager arrived and resolved it in three minutes without any trouble at all, It’s worth highlighting her professionalism and empathy in dealing with these issues. The pool is great, but there are still flies there, and above all, we want to highlight the cleanliness—they’re cleaning all day long, but I can’t give it a high rating because of those issues, and the flies take away aaaall the charm—you have to leave and come back at night when they’re gone.

We left five days early because of the bar staff. The service was terrible in that regard. The bungalow was a bit small but otherwise quite nice. I have to give a shout-out to the activity leader, Luis—he’s the heart and soul of that campground. We had a bad experience, mainly because of the way one of the waitresses treated us; she practically told us to leave.

The campground was generally very good; everything was very clean. However, there weren’t enough lounge chairs by the pool—the area where the chairs were set up was covered in sand, so you had to shower to wash it off before getting into the pool. The most annoying things were the flies and the smell of manure from the nearby greenhouses. The entertainment was a lot of fun for young children. The campground is small and there’s nothing much to do in the surrounding area—just the beach—so you have to drive everywhere.
