Sauceda Tent - 4 persons

We've been coming to Taiga for years. But I have to admit that the cabins receive little to no maintenance. There was no way to open the doors to either the cabin or the bathroom—they were all jammed shut. There was dirt all around the cabins. Honestly, you can tell they’re not up to their original standard.

A great glamping experience

Taiga Punta Paloma is a great place for families. The cleaning staff are very kind and friendly. We stayed for 3 days and everything was great; the kids had a wonderful time. The kids’ activities—at least the ones we attended—could be improved quite a bit. For example, the water games on the playgrounds consisted of nothing more than a faucet where they filled some small containers so the kids could throw water at each other, and the activity leader just kept telling them not to get her wet— which, in my opinion, could be greatly improved. Then one night when there was a kids’ movie, the entertainment staff didn’t know until the very last minute which movie they were going to show—and in the end, they changed it half an hour later than the start time listed on the signs because I don’t know what was going on with the original movie they were supposed to show and the computer. Look, these are small details that could be improved, but overall it was great. Sure, it’s true there are cobwebs in some places, but come on—nothing alarming and totally normal for a wooden and canvas cabin set on a small pine-covered hill.
A really nice touch was the mattresses—they were fantastic, comfortable, and you could tell they were fairly new; we really slept well on them!
In short, I’ll definitely be back!

You’d have to be a real jerk to like the glamping area here—far from the beach, treated like outcasts by the rest of the campground, and not even the main reception desk pays you any attention. If you like sweltering in the heat for 130 euros a night with a soundtrack of cowbells and a cigarette-butts-littered atmosphere just to try to look cool, this is the place for you—old fans, refrigerators that don’t cool because they don’t close properly and get frosted over, dirty tents, and a pool where you have to fight for a square meter at noon. If I were you, and if you like this sort of thing, stick with Marina d’Or or Magic World or whatever it’s called—you fit the profile for that kind of place. As soon as I arrived, I headed to a hotel in Tarifa that was a thousand times more comfortable. My mistake—there are other “Taiga” resorts that are actually decent: air conditioning, amenities, activities, Caspe… Almería… but this one… 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 total rip-off.
