Camping Bedura Park

The Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park is one of the most beautiful natural areas in the Pyrenees and is known for its crystal-clear mountain lakes, waterfalls, rivers, and impressive mountain peaks. The park is a paradise for hikers and nature lovers, with routes for both relaxing walks and challenging mountain hikes. Well-known spots include the Lagos de Colomers, Estany de Sant Maurici, and the surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks. From Camping Bedura Park, the national park is about 15 to 20 kilometers away, depending on the chosen entrance. By car, you can reach the northern entrance of the park in about 25 minutes.

The Sant Esperit Waterfall (Cascada del Sant Esperit) is an impressive waterfall along one of the popular hiking trails in the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. The waterfall is especially spectacular in spring and after the snowmelt, when the meltwater flows down with force. From Camping Bedura Park, this sight is about 30 kilometers away, which amounts to approximately a 30 to 40 minute drive.

Vielha, the capital of the Val d’Aran, is located just about 10 km from Camping Bedura Park (around a 15-minute drive) and is a perfect destination for a day trip. The town has a charming historic center with narrow streets, cozy shops, and tapas bars and restaurants where you can taste local Aranese dishes. Visit the Romanesque church of Sant Miquèu and enjoy strolling through the squares, past boutiques and local markets, while soaking up the atmosphere of the Pyrenees.
