Parc Aventura & Aquadiver park
Just a 15–20 minute drive from Camping Begur you’ll find two great parks for an active and enjoyable day out. Parc Aventura Costa Brava in Platja d’Aro/Pals is an exciting climbing park with rope courses, zip-lines, and various elevated trails, suitable for both children and adults. The different difficulty levels make it perfect for the whole family. For a day full of water fun, Aquadiver in Platja d’Aro is highly recommended: a large water park with slides, wave pools, and special children’s areas. With sunbathing lawns, food and drink facilities, and shaded areas, this is the ideal place to cool off and relax. Both parks are easily accessible and offer plenty of adventure and entertainment!

Hiking in the Area
Walking along the Camí de Ronda is a wonderful way to discover the rugged coastline of the Costa Brava. This route, close to places like Sa Riera and Aiguablava, offers spectacular views, hidden coves, and easy trails that are also suitable for children. Perfect for a relaxing family walk. Not far from the campsite is the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park, a green oasis with well-laid walking paths and viewpoints. Here you can spot wildlife such as storks and various birds, and with a bit of luck, even wild horses. Both locations are ideal for nature lovers and families looking for peace and adventure close to Camping Begur.
Villages Pals & Peratallada
Near Camping Begur you will find the charming medieval villages of Pals and Peratallada, ideal for a cultural morning or afternoon with the family. About 10 to 15 kilometers away, you can stroll through child-friendly streets, admire ancient watchtowers, and enjoy atmospheric terraces. These villages offer plenty of opportunities to relax together, for example with a delicious ice cream or a visit to a local market. For families who love history, friendliness and an authentic atmosphere, Pals and Peratallada are highly recommended. This way you combine culture and fun in a relaxed and beautiful environment close to the campsite.
Costa Brava
In the surroundings of Camping Begur there are beautiful bays that you definitely shouldn't miss. Cala Marquesa, Aigua Xelida, and Platja Fonda are wonderful places to swim, sunbathe, snorkel, and relax in a peaceful, natural environment. For those who crave a bit more adventure, renting a canoe in Sa Riera is highly recommended to explore the coastline from the water. Additionally, a visit to the picturesque village of Tossa de Mar is a must. Here you can relax on the beach, stroll through the narrow streets, and enjoy local tapas in one of the cozy restaurants. These places make your holiday on the Costa Brava complete!

It's so sad to be leaving begur, but especially its great campsite! the staff? A DO RABLE! speak French very well, always with a smile and a kind word! Cleanliness? Nothing to complain about! The sanitary facilities are very clean, as is the swimming pool, which is heated outside for April! The mobile home was in the shade, but in view of the heat it's not a bad thing, there's also air-conditioning and the mattresses are of very good quality. We slept well, which is rare in this type of rental (mobile home). There's a supermarket just behind the campsite, barely a 2-minute walk away, which is very practical! So there you have it, nothing to complain about! Except that we loved it! Thanks to the whole team!

A fantastic campsite! When we arrived with our party with the caravan and motorhome, an employee from the reception immediately came out to welcome and instruct us. After checking in and an explanation at the reception, an employee drove ahead of us in a golf cart to point out our spot. The campground is large, but certainly does not feel massive, it has several layers, terraces and lots of trees, you feel like you are in a forest and yet there is plenty of sunshine (so nice in late April). We are on a Grand Comfort spot and it is great, wonderfully spacious, with water and electricity. The campsite has several sanitary buildings with all amenities. Large shower rooms, easy to control the temperature yourself and no timer, there is even a rain shower per building! Good facilities for washing dishes and laundry and even a room to wash a baby! The animals are behind a neck, now we are not allowed to reach them so we can only feed and pet some through the fence. 2 pools of which only the rectangular one is open in spring and wonderfully heated (25+ degrees). There is even a car wash area, with pressure washer and vacuum cleaner. This is also necessary because there are several trees that (now) give off yellow dust/pollen (everything is covered). In addition to sites for RVs/caravans and tents, there are also small cottages and glamping tents. We haven't visited the restaurant yet ourselves, but it looks fine, cozy/luxurious. There is plenty to do for children and the campground is safe to send your child out on their own. Next to the campsite is a supermarket with bakery and fish market. A few minutes drive away is the village of Begur, definitely worth visiting, on Wednesday there was a small market, which unfortunately was less than we expected. Although the village is nice to see. We went by car to Figueres (50 minutes) for the Dali theater museum, very nice to see!

We've just spent a week at Camping Begur and are delighted with our stay. The Premium bungalows are extremely spacious, with a terrace the length of the bungalow and all the necessary furniture (garden furniture, deckchairs and a table for eating outside). The interior is just as well equipped! The joy of being under the Pines, the scent of nature close to all amenities (supermarket 5 min walk from the campsite). The farm within the campsite is a real plus, with well-treated animals (donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, etc.). The two swimming pools are superb (one was heated to almost 32 degrees, a delight for adults and children alike), and the staff are adorable, both in terms of reception and catering. Access to the 1st beach is quite far (about 25 mon on foot), but the spot is well worth the walk, and in the surrounding area, about 15 min max, the beaches are all more beautiful than the others, with their crystal-clear waters and shades of blue. The village of Begur is also charming, with its castle overlooking a breathtaking view! We'll be back for sure!
