Camping del Mar

We're currently staying at the campground with an ACSI 7-for-6 pass,you can choose your spot; it’s very quiet here right now, the restrooms are very clean, there’s a small restaurant with reasonable prices—the food is good—and a small shop nearby. There are beautiful bike paths nearby, and the staff at the campground are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this campground during the off-season.

I've been to a campsite ⛺️ with everything—a barbecue, a bathroom, a shower, and AC—it was wonderful.

If you’re into high campsite prices with zero privacy, surrounded by mostly German and Dutch hardcore campers, and it doesn’t bother you that there’s no normal waste disposal system—instead, you have to dispose of gray water by the bucketful— where the chemical toilet is usually emptied, then this might be the place for you.
Admittedly, the … large pool, restaurant, and store are nice, and the Mediterranean is right across the street, but it’s still 2 km to Malgrat.

A very nice campground that we visited with a dog and a wheelchair.
Since I rely on a wheelchair, I pay close attention to the restroom facilities and accessibility.
Very positive:
The campground has two wheelchair-accessible restroom facilities that can only be opened with a key card. However, one of the facilities is inaccessible by … wheelchair due to a curb that’s too high. See photo:
The pool is also accessible by wheelchair and features a water entrance with a handrail and steps.
There is a small grocery store on the campground with everything you need: baguettes, croissants, drinks, etc. However, there are no fresh vegetables. The nearest Lidl and Aldi are 3 km away and carry everything.
The staff is very attentive and friendly.
Negative: The area is only somewhat wheelchair-accessible. The roads are a mixture of gravel and sand that has been compacted, making them easy to navigate. Unfortunately, the sidewalks are only partially accessible. Steps, potholes, and stones make navigating them quite an adventure. The beach is not accessible by wheelchair, nor is the dog beach. Furthermore, the sidewalk isn’t fully paved—only in some sections. Alternatively, you can use the beach path or have to stay on the road. Not for inexperienced drivers.
Otherwise, everything is fine. The parking spaces are small but sufficient. Access to the beach, as well as shopping or strolling, is no problem if you have a way to get to the nearest large parking lot. Read more Show less
