First time at this campground for two weeks in a
. The site was pretty decent, with a water hookup and shade.
Depending on your neighbors, it can quickly become a nightmare if you’re trying to relax—our Spanish neighbors had three dogs, two of which barked all day long as soon as the owners left, and they started barking as early as 7 a.m.
As for the pools—they’re too small. The one with the slides is cramped; everyone brings their own float or ball, and I think a lot of people go in without washing up first. I saw kids arriving from City Park after a soccer game in 37-degree heat, sweaty and without showering, jump right into the pool. Other parents, whose son asked to pee, told him to go back into the pool to do it...
No wristband to prove you’re a campground guest, so I guess anyone can walk in
No footbath and no mandatory shower before using the pool
The campground is a bit far from the center of Vilanova..
The restrooms are clean considering the number of people at this campground..
The campground was too big for us
It’s a long walk to get to evening activities, and the mini-market is too far away..
In short, I think the campground should focus more on enforcing entry checks for the pools—like using wristbands..
And prevent people from swimming fully clothed (boxer shorts, T-shirts, and so on...)—there’s a lot of hair floating around...
On the other hand, this campground is very well-suited for a couple with children.this is a translation, click here for the original
