Surroundings

Head out to the Montgó mountain massif

Discover the impressive Parque Natural del Montgó: a mountainous area with rugged rocks, pine forests, and panoramic views over the Mediterranean Sea. Put on your hiking boots or hop on your mountain bike and set off along the hiking trails or unpaved paths, heading towards peaks and viewpoints. Along the way, you can spot wildflowers, the colors of the Mediterranean scrubland, and on clear days even see the islands off the coast. After an active morning, return to the tranquility of the glamping to unwind by the pool or simply relax in your lodge.

Relax & surf or sail along the Costa Blanca

Explore the coast of the Costa Blanca: rent a SUP board, go windsurfing or sailing, or choose kayaking along the rocky shoreline at Cabo de San Antonio. Crystal-clear water, gentle sea breeze and beautiful sunsets make it a paradise. Start your day on the beach with yoga, and finish in the evening with real Spanish paella in the town center or on the boulevard. This combination of active water sports and a relaxed coastal vibe makes Jávea a great destination for both adventure and relaxation.

Go snorkeling at Cala Granadella

Go snorkeling in the turquoise water of Cala Granadella — a hidden bay just a few kilometers from the campsite. Put on your snorkel and discover underwater life in clear water, with rock formations and little fish all around you. Afterwards, walk back along the coast, with views of cliffs and sea. Perfect for a morning full of nature, tranquility, and wonder.

Explore the historic center of Javea

Visit the charming old town of Javea, with narrow streets, white houses, and cozy little squares. Stroll past shops, cafés, and market stalls, taste local tapas, and soak up the relaxed Spanish atmosphere. Just 500 meters from the campsite — easy to reach on foot or by bike. An ideal mix of culture and relaxation.

Very good, perhaps lacking a little animation or games for children and no barbecue for us.

Actually a beautifully located campsite with friendly staff and clean sanitary facilities, which we have visited several times, most recently from Nov 2025 to March 2026. In 2025 there must have been a change of ownership and a 4* site has become a glamping site. We had made a reservation for a pitch with supply and disposal. When we arrived, we were informed that these pitches were free but no longer available for long-term rental. Although the doors and fittings in wash house 1 had been replaced, the dowel holes in the old hooks had only been patched up in a makeshift manner and there were no new hooks in the toilets and only single hooks in the showers, some of which were not even properly attached. The taps and showers with an automatic switch-off function are also not so nice. On the one hand, it makes sense to prevent wasting water, but on the other hand, the intervals are far too short, so you have to keep pressing the tap. Unfortunately, most of the pitches are shady because the trees have not been cut back. This is certainly pleasant in summer, but unfortunately not in winter. This also causes a lot of noise from the leaf blowers used by the staff to sweep up the fallen leaves in the fall/winter. In extreme cases, paying campers have to sweep up the leaves themselves, as every gust of wind redistributes the leaves. When it rains, it's all a pretty slippery and dangerous slide. Some of the trees also have fruit, which causes dirt on the tent roof and sticks to the soles of your shoes, so that this is then carried into the awning. The motto "pitch in the green" is nice, but only unpleasant in the fall/winter; after all, you want to enjoy the sparse rays of sunshine. The large swimming pool is of course great in summer. A baguette service is available. The restaurant and service are very nice, but the choice of food is limited. The proximity to Lidl, Aldi, Mercadona and to the city center or the beach is pleasant.
