Grab your favourite people and escape to BADSTUGAN, a cosy hideaway in the Swedish countryside. This charming wooden house sits on a spacious natural lawn, just 500 metres from Lake Grässjön – close enough to stroll down in your flip-flops for a refreshing dip.

Outside you’ve got a lovely roofed patio where you can chill together from early breakfast to late-night drinks. Fire up the barbecue, play some music, and enjoy long, lazy evenings in the fresh air. On cooler nights, head inside and light the wood stove (firewood is included), perfect for board games, good talks and a glass of wine while it’s crackling away.

Lake Grässjön is your playground: go for a swim, cast a line and try your luck fishing, or just hang out by the water. The beach area has a well-kept lawn where you can sunbathe, picnic or read a book, and there’s a beach volleyball field for a bit of friendly competition with your group.

To the north of BADSTUGAN you’ll find forests and wilderness, ideal for walks, trail runs or simply wandering without a plan. To the south, towards the lake, you look out over peaceful pastures – a proper countryside setting that instantly slows you down. It’s a place where you can actually hear the silence, broken only by birds and the occasional splash in the lake.

In winter this spot turns into a cosy, snowy retreat. You can head to the ski area about 45 km away for a day on the slopes and then return to your warm house and wood stove in the evening. Do note: in winter the annex isn’t winterized, so a maximum of four people can stay during the colder months.
